1957-2020
Margaret “Margie” Rosch (nee Zeien), 63, of Northwood, IA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, Nov. 27, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Margie was born August 9, 1957, in Hastings, MN, to William and Florence Zeien. She was a 1975 graduate of Hastings High School and married Steven Rosch in 1977. They lived in Minnesota until they moved to Northwood in 1984. Steven passed away in 1994.
Margie was a long-time 4-H leader in Worth County and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Manly, IA. She was office manager of Welsh Chiropractic Clinic in Northwood for 28 years. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, crafts and birdwatching. She loved being a mother and grandmother, and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed annual family traditions including pumpkin carving, egg dying, and cookie day with the grandkids. She also loved holiday decorating in her beautiful home.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Steven, and by her parents and father and mother-inlaw, Dale and Phyllis Rosch, all of Hastings.
She is survived by: partner, John Janssen; daughter, Sara (Marcus) Rienhardt of

Janesville, MN; son, Joey (Kate) of Rochester, MN; grandchildren, Adalynn, Parker, Max, Garrett, Ruby and Everly; sisters, Sharon Enscoe of Falls Creek, PA; Jeanne Zeien of Red Wing; JoAnn Tri of Littleton, CO; Mary (Kevin) Dalaska of Hastings; and brothers Thomas (Deanne) of Hastings, Richard (Theresa) of Inver Grove Heights, Ronald (Linda) of Hastings, William (Mel) of Diamond Bluff, WI; and Kenneth (Sony) of Hastings; brothers- and sisters-in-law Jeffrey (Kit) of Duluth, GA; Peter (Cheryl), Donna Fontaine, and Laurie (Gerv) Kieffer of Hastings; James (Carol) of Maplewood; and many other relatives and friends.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home in Northwood. A private memorial service will follow the visitation. Details available at www.schroederfuneralhomes. com.
