A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 25th St. and Vermillion St. Dustin Turcotte, 30 of St. Cloud, was arrested for a Department of Corrections warrant.

9:09 a.m.

A report of identity theft was received from the 1100 block of Woodland Dr. 10:17 a.m.

Taylor A. Elliott, 22 of Greenfield, MN, was cited for Failure to Yield to Right of Way after being stopped near the intersection of 18th St. and Pine St.

10:51 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near on Hwy. 52 near Southview Blvd. in South St. Paul. Mary K. Walker, 54 of Afton, was cited for expired tabs. 11:02 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1600 block of Oakdale Ave. in West St. Paul. Zachary R. Ashton, 30 of Minneapolis, was cited for driving with expired registration. 11:19 a.m.

Officers were informed of a trespass notice for an apartment complex in the 200 block of 4th St. E. 2:42 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Vermillion St. to document a vehicle accident. The driver was found to have struck a building. Nae Kue, 21 of St. Paul, was cited and released for driving without a valid Driver’s License. 5:34 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Oak St. for a missing juvenile report. The juvenile was located. 6:21 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. regarding missing property.

10:02 p.m.

Nicole Gans, 28 of River Falls, was arrested for a warrant after being stopped in the 1400 block of Vermillion St. Officers located an unknown substance in the vehicle that is being tested. The incident is under investigation.

March 30 9:26 a.m.

Officers were notified of a missing person incident in the 1500 block of Hwy. 55. A report was filed.

10:49 a.m.

Officers were called to 27th St. E. for a fraud call after a credit card was stolen and used at an area business. 4:24 p.m.

Officers were called to the 3200 block of Olson Dr. for a fraud report. The incident is under investigation.

March 31 1:56 p.m.

Officers observed a male driving a vehicle in the 900 block of 14th St. W. A records check showed the male had a revoked driver’s license. The male was located at his home, where he admitted to knowingly driving without a license. Mitchell Redmond, 25 of Hastings, was cited for Driving after Revocation.

3:10 p.m.

Officers assisted Dakota County Deputies with a traffic stop on Tiffany Dr. near Red Wing Blvd. 6:43 p.m.

A theft of license plate report was taken near Meggan Ct. 6:51 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a theft in progress. Gustavo Maldonado- Valladare of Minneapolis was cited for misdemeanor theft. Melvina Maldonado-Valladare of Minneapolis was taken into custody for gross misdemeanor theft and two warrants.

April 1 12:03 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Vermillion St. and 9th St. for a one-vehicle property damage accident. Tino C. Lee, 34 of St. Paul, was cited for Driving after Revocation.

2:16 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 block of Vermillion St. After investigation, Drew L. Peterson, 27 of River Falls, was cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a small amount of Marijuana and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.

3:19 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 17th St. and Vermillion St. Manuel M. Contreras, 30 of Maplewood, was arrested for fleeing on foot, gross misdemeanor obstruction and four active warrants.

12:24 p.m.

Officers responded to the parking lot of a business in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. regarding a two-vehicle accident that caused minor property damage. No citations were issued.

4:00 p.m.

Officers responded to the 3400 block of Leroy Ave. for a civil assist.

7:53 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 2000 block of Vermillion St.

8:40 p.m.

Officers responded to a fight in progress in the 2500 block of Yellowstone Dr. After investigating, Timothy C. Kilpatrick, 38, was arrested for Misdemeanor – 5th Degree Assault, Misdemeanor – Disorderly Conduct and Gross Misdemeanor – 5th Degree Drug Possession.

11:06 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Vermillion St. and 14th St. Yang Lee, 42 of St. Paul, was taken into custody for two warrants and cited for Driving after Revocation. A passenger, Kee Kue, 43 of St. Paul, was taken into custody for a warrant. April 2 8:45 a.m.

A vehicle was observed parked near the intersection of Sibley St. and 2nd St. E. with expired registration. Matthew Robinson, 41 of Woodbury, was issued a citation for the offense. 10:11 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of past action damage to property in the 400 block of 7th St. W. An unknown subject caused about $400 in damage. 10:13 a.m.

A report documenting criminal damage to property was taken in the 100 block of Whispering Ln. A vehicle had its’ side window smashed in sometime overnight. 1:33 p.m.

Officers investigated a past action theft of a license plate from the 3600 block of Vermillion St. There are no suspects.

6:07 p.m.

Officers conducted a warrant check in the 1200 block of Sibley St. Ryan J. Gelhar, 34 of Hastings, was arrested for active warrants.

7:49 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. After investigation, Leroy D. Burling Jr., 57 of Mendota Heights, was arrested for 4th Degree Driving while Intoxicated. 9:10 p.m.

Officers responded to the 700 block of 11th St. W. for a welfare check. The situation was mediated.

April 3 12:53 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 3rd St. E. After investigation, Riley A. Thompson, 19 of St. Paul, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. 1:33 a.m.

Joseph F. Schmidt, 23 of Hastings, was cited for expired registration and expired title after being stopped near the intersection of Pine St. and Cty. Rd. 47. 3:03 a.m.

Jayce Vang of Vadnais Heights was taken into custody for a felony warrant after a traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of 15th St. and Ramsey St.

9:02 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 4th St. W. on a parking complaint. Gwen M. Noble, 71 of Austin, MN, was cited for parking where official signs prohibit. The vehicle was towed. 10:09 a.m.

Officers responded to a vehicle accident in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. With the officer’s help, both parties were able to exchange information and reports were completed.

1:20 p.m.

A vehicle was observed parked in the 300 block of Whispering Ln. that appeared to have been abandoned. The vehicle was checked on 24-hours later and it had not been moved. Janette Randall was cited for the parking violation.

6:09 p.m.

Officers responded to the area of 11th St. W. and Oak St. for a dog complaint. After investigation, Kristina M. Schultz, 38 of Hastings, was cited for Hastings City Ordinance: No Dog License.

6:22 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Pine St. regarding a warrant call. Jetzel N. Rodriguez Andino, 20 of Burnsville, for an active Department of Corrections warrant.

6:42 p.m.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Vermillion St. for a hit and run accident. After investigation, officers located the unknown driver and both owners exchanged information.

10:58 p.m.

While on a security detail in the 200 block of 4th St., an officer cited Cody R. Brown, 28 of Hastings, for misdemeanor trespassing after he was located on the property.

April 4 12:00 a.m.

An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. and 18th St. E. Roscoe G. Pettis, 39 of Minneapolis, was arrested for driving with a cancelled inimical to public safety driver’s status.

11:44 a.m.

Officers were advised of an after the fact theft from a motor vehicle in the 1500 block of 3rd St. E. The incident is under investigation.

12:03 p.m.

Officers received a report of a missing person from the 1200 block of Sibley St. They were advised a friend had not returned back to their sober home and there was concern for their welfare. The case is under investigation
