Gavin Davis Reimer, 18, Hastings, was charged in Dakota County District Court on March 31 with three counts of gross misdemeanor furnishing alcohol to a minor.

On March 15, a report was received of possible intoxicated individuals at a gathering in Nininger Township. According to the complaint, one female was unconscious in a snowbank and a male, Reimer, had left in a gray sedan to pick up two other females. When deputies from the Dakota County Sheriff’s office arrived, they located the unconscious girl, age 15, in a snowbank south of the gathering center. She was cold to the touch, her exposed skin was pink in color, and her clothes were wet. Immediate medical assistance was provided, and she was brought by ambulance to Regina Hospital.

A witness at the party observed the other two juvenile females, ages 15 and 12, dragging the unconscious girl across the snow and heard them tell Reimer they needed to call 911. Reimer stated he had lost his cell phone and eventually left the scene. Another witness observed the two other girls leaving on foot. They were quickly located by deputies and both admitted to drinking alcohol.

According to the three girls, Reimer drove them to a gathering center and brought alcohol. He allegedly pressured one girl to drink until she eventually became incoherent, and then unconscious. When this happened, Reimer attempted to carry her down the trail, but both of the other juveniles began dragging her toward the parking lot.

Reimer admitted to driving the victims to the gathering center and providing them with alcohol. A court summons was issued
