To the editor:
We want to acknowledge and thank all the committees, sponsors, staff, volunteers, vendors, law enforcement, bands, the artist who did the ice sculptures in the downtown area, and the participating hockey teams for making Hockey Day MN a success. We apologize if we missed anyone. The extreme cold made your jobs even more difficult, but you all did a fantastic job.
We also want to thank Treasure Island for all they contributed to make Hockey Day MN a success. From their sponsorship, the Jersey reveal party, free shuttles to the events, hotel accommodations with special pricing, to the Wild hockey game party. It was all great.
The extreme cold kept some people from attending, but those that did had a great time. We saw people skating, playing mini golf, enjoying food and beverages, listening to the bands, and watching great hockey games.
