The mission is not completed yet

I have to say, that I enjoyed, the two articles in this weeks “The Hastings Journal” edition, but, your mission, is not completed yet, as there is another one, in Hastings, which, does a lot for the community and outside of it. It is the American Veterans, chartered by Congress in 23 July 1947, and the America Legion, was formed on March 15, 1919, in Paris, whereas the Veterans of Veteran Wars of the United States, was established by James C. Putnam on 29 September 1899, in Columbus, OH; then, there is the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), which, arose at a Christmas party in 1919, hosted by Cincinnati Superior Court Judge Robert Marx, a U. S. Captain and War World I veteran, who had been injured in the Nieuse-Angone Offensive in November 1918. Although it had been functional for some months by that time, the Disabled American Veterans of the World War (DAVWW) was officially created on September 25, 1920, at its first National Caucus, in Hamilton County Memorial Hall in Cincinnati, OH. and than, there is the Vietnam Veterans of America, (VVA, which is the only national Vietnam veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families, of which, the 50th Commemoration, is currently being held.from May 25, 2012 to Veterans Day 2025, of which the former Beyond the Yellow Ribbon- Hastings community initiative, now handled by the Cottage Grove Beyond the Yellow Ribbon network, is a commemorative partner, proclaimed by the Hastings City Council and has never been revoked, however, I have the user name and the password, as the originator of it..

As a Life time member in all of these organ i z a – tions. I would appreciate, even time, in their mission, purpose, objectives, CORE Values, as that would be the proper thing, to do in the Public Media Field/Communications and Public Affairs arena, as ALL of them are a major military, veterans, family and military children community, influences and contributors, within the Community of Hastings, to include the Hastings Veterans Home and the Minnesota National Guard, r434th Chemical Company, which, is deploying, very shortly, for a year, overseas.
