Governor Walz a Bold Budget

Thank you for your budget that shines a spotlight that now is the time to boldly step beyond mere words into equitable concrete policy action to ensure a bright future for all Minnesotans. Reality is the pandemic has not hit us all equally. For those of us that COVID-19 has had little or no economic impact (some had finances increase) think back to a time when you struggled. None of us have gotten to where we are alone. If we are truthful there was always some person, or an opportunity to seize, that offered an avenue out. In our time of struggle we traveled that road built by others. Out of gratitude we have an obligation to do it for another. Your budget offers rearview mirror empathy and acknowledges the reality that success of all benefits all of us. This budget gives us a map to construct an equitable road to recovery. Everyone invested. Everyone plays a role. Because the truth is none of us have ever gotten to where we are alone.
