Shopping Trivia. Did you know that more than half of the businesses in Downtown Hastings are owned by women? ‘Ladies Night ‘ was celebrated Thursday evening, September 24th from 6-8 p.m. in Historic Downtown Hastings.

Our very own David Youngren had a Grand Opening of his Studio, located at BeLoved. David’s new puzzles are flying off the shelves. BeLoved, at 213 2nd Street East, also celebrated the Grand Opening of their BeLoved Boutique and BeLoved Bridal Suites. Ladies, this is a must see. Stop in and wish owner, Amy VanZee all the best on this new journey.

Pure Serenity and Wellness Center, located at 202 2nd Street East, stayed open late to give tours of their recently opened business. Of their many services, are Massage Therapy, Therapeutic Skin Care, Yoga and Poetry Massage, which specializes in relieving Migraine Pain and headaches. Pure Serenity also offers Reiki Energy work. The highlight of my tour was the Salt and Selenite Sanctuary. Halo therapy, also known as drug salt therapy, derived from Greek word “halos”, meaning salt. Stop in at Pure Serenity and Wellness for tour, to learn even more about the Salt Room. During these chaotic times, and with Holiday Season approaching, we could all use a de-stressor.
