January 25th 7:08 a.m. Officer assisted with a child custody report.
9:26 a.m. Officer took a suspicious act report.
11:10 a.m. Officer responded to an address on Meggan Drive and took Kelly Lyn Fohrenkamm, 41 of Hastings, into custody on a misdemeanor warrant. She was booked at Dakota
County Jail. 1:30 p.m. Officer took a license plate theft report in the 1500 block of Florence St. The victim had no suspect information and the cost to get new plates is approximately $300.00 3:03 p.m. Officers received information regarding suspicious circumstances on the 1900 block of Ridge Lane. The case is under investigation. 9:03 p.m. Officers located a stolen vehicle near the 800 block of 10th Street W. Cameron Kirsch, 28 of Rockford, was arrested for felony possession of stolen property, 5th degree drug possession, and possession of a hypodermic needle.
January 26th 1:51 a.m. Officers responded to a medical in the 3200 block of Vermillion
Street. 9:00 a.m. An officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle where the driver matched the physical description of the registered owner who had a suspended license. After investigation Huaxi Yang, 20 of Saint Paul Park, was issued a citation for driving after revocation.
12:52 p.m. Officer took an identity theft report case from a victim who advised an unknown suspect filed for unemployment in the state of Ohio using his identity. The unknown suspect appeared to earn approximately $1,578.00 on a tax form that was sent to the victim. The victim is not out of money as of yet, but will be if he needs to pay for the taxes.
3:20 p.m. An officer spoke with the reporting party who advised a unknown suspect attempted to deposit fraudulent checks in her companies name. The suspect was not successful and the reporting parties bank caught the activity before it was cashed. The potential loss would have totaled out to approximately $12,508.06.
8:06 p.m. An officer responded to the 1700 block Market Blvd for a welfare check. The situation was mediated. January 27th 12:02 a.m. Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Vermillion Street. After investigation the driver Xeng Vang , 33 of St. Paul, was cited for expired registration and no proof of insurance.
4:56 a.m. Officers responded to a medical in the 300 block of Fredrick Circle.
8:55 a.m. Officers observed a vehicle with expired registration tabs in the area of 12th St. and Eddy St. Officers initiated a traffic stop and the driver Kelly Mae Twidt, 38 of Hastings, was cited and released for expired registration.
1:00 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Summit Point Dr. to document a theft from motor vehicle. The victim had approximately $30.00 cash taken from her vehicle by a unknown suspect.
8:14 p.m. Officers initiated a firearm violation investigation near the 800 block of 10th St. W.
10:00 p.m. Officers responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion Street for a suspicious person call. This case was forwarded to the prosecution for charging considerations.
January 28th 2:59 a.m. Officers located a male with multiple active warrants near the 2400 block of Vermillion St. John William Moeller, 29, was taken into custody without incident.
8:50 a.m. Officers were sent to the 400 block of Robert Drive for a theft from trailer. Officers are investigating.
10:07 a.m. Officers were called to the 1200 block of Vermillion St. for a minor property damage accident. No state report. No citations.
11:37 a.m. Officers were sent to the 1900 block of Vermillion Street for a theft report.
12:55 p.m. An officer observed a vehicle being driven by a person whom they knew did not have a valid driver’s license. Bryce Horning, 25 of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation.
1:40 p.m. Officers responded ot a death on arrival in the 1300 block of 21st St. W.
1:53 p.m. Officers were sent to the 2500 block of Yellowstone Drive for a suspicious incident. Officers cited Nichole Ann Newell, 40 of Hastings, for disorderly conduct.
3:15 p.m. Officers conducted parking enforcement in the city parking lot in the 300 block of Sibley St. Ethan Glen Siem, 27 of Hastings, was cited.
3:22 p.m. Officers conducted parking enforcement in the city parking lot in the 300 block of Sibley St. Amanda Sue Young, 32 of Hastings, was cited for over 72 hour ordinance violation.
7:11 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance in the 600 block of Vermillion Street.
10:03 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Cannon Street and 33rd Street W. The driver was given a warning.
January 29th 2:16 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 10th Street East. After investigation Alysia Marie Opatz, 42 of Saint Paul, was arrested for an active warrant.
3:06 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at 4th Street East and Vermillion Street. The driver Simion Osando, 40 of Spring Park, was taken into custody for felony driving while impaired, driving after cancelled IPS, and failure to maintain lane.
12:28 p.m. Hastings Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Kendall Dr. on a warrant call. Joseph John Schultz, 45 of Hastings, was arrested on a warrant.
1:28 p.m. An officer assisted another agency in the 30 block of Amelia Ave.
9:34 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th Street E. and Sibley Street. The driver Heur Xiong, 37 of Oakdale, was arrested for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. January 30th 12:23a.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of 20th Street W. for a damage to property report. There was no suspect information and the case is inactive.
3:58 p.m. Officer was dispatched to the intersection of 15th St. and Maple St. for a two vehicle crash. No injuries and no citations issued.
7:58 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Frontage Road in regards to a theft in progress. Officers investigated the call and cited Patrick M. Quinn, 48 of Hastings, for misdemeanor theft The case is under investigation.
8:28 p.m. Officers responded to Walmart for a theft in progress. Patrick Michael Quinn Jr, 48 of Hastings, was arrested for a felony warrant out of Wisconsin. He was also charged with fugitive from justice.
January 31st 12:33 a.m. Hastings Officers were requested by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a traffic stop located at the intersection of 160th St. and Pleasant Drive. Hastings Officers utilized their K9 to sniff the vehicle.
11:46 a.m. Officer took a felony theft report.
1:52 p.m. Received an online theft report from citizen.
3:47 p.m. An officer responded to the 500 block of Westview Dr. on a report of a juvenile complaint. Informational report completed.
8:47 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna trial and Glendale. Officers investigated the traffic stop and cited Carlos E. Castillo, 25 of Minneapolis, for driving after revocation.
10:49 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of 33rd Street West after an employee of a business located suspected narcotics on the floor of the business. The suspected narcotics were seized by officers and sent to be destroyed.
10:55 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 100 block of 23rd Street W. The matter is under investigation.
