Hundreds of banners, one for each Senior, hung from the out_eld fence at Schafer Field at the Hastings Middle School. Started in 2020 due to the pandemic, the banners look to be an ongoing, additional part of the recognition for the graduating Seniors of Hastings High School. This years graduation ceremony on Friday, June Fourth at 7:00 p.m., is expected to be one of the _rst truly normal events of the summer for the high school with the restrictions on outdoor events being lifted. The banners that can be seen from Highway 55 took several parent volunteers hours to hang. Luckily they _nished before it became too cold, windy and rainy. Photos by Bruce Karnick
