The Hastings Area Historical Society is having its next meeting on Tuesday, June 14 from 79 p.m. They will be meeting in the Small Soldiers and Sailors Cemetery, on the triangle corner near the gate of Lakeside Cemetery, near the intersection of Nininger Road and Second Street West.
There will be a presentation on the G.A.R., a Civil War Veterans Organization.
Members and the public are invited to attend for free. Light refreshments will be available. Parking will be on the side streets to the south, State and First Street West. Please bring your own chair.
