She was a family oriented person and cherished the times spent gathered together.

Helen is survived by her children, Charlie (Helen) Meier and Sharon Steward; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; siblings, Doreen “Pucky” Larsen, Ruth “Torchy” Gustafson, and Elwyn Juenke; and by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Resurrection United Methodist Church in Hastings, with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation for one hour prior to the services, and to a reception following the burial, all at church on Thursday.
