Track and Field meets are a lesson in controlled chaos. Events are going all over the host complex. Running on the track, warm-ups and cool-downs in the infield, long jump, triple jump, high jump, and shot put in the pit, end of the infield. Pole vault and discus elsewhere. All the kids patiently waiting for their events to start, fans cheering all over the place. It can be a little overwhelming for first time parents and participants to watch a track meet, especially a conference meet.
The Raiders travelled to Henry Sibley for the Conference Championships June 1st through the 3rd.
