The Hastings Sharks Special Olympics Team celebrated our athletes, unified partners, coaches and supporters at the annual banquet held on March 26th. We held our banquet at the Hidden Greens Event Center with a delicious dinner catered by Ptacek’s IGA. A s’more bar, provided by North Mallow S’mores, was a real treat! We enjoyed dancing with music provided by The SCENE. Ranice Loman led us in the Special Olympics Oath. Mary Jo Huberty and Will Meyer were the winners of the Shark blanket drawing. The Hastings Sharks practice and compete in 11 sports; Alpine Skiing, Basketball, Bocce Ball, Bowling, Flag Football, Golf, Poly Hockey, Swimming, Snowshoeing, Tennis and Track and Field. It was a wonderful celebration of all thosepresent and the great support that we receive from the community!
