On Friday, November 6th, Superintendent Robert Mc-Dowell sent a letter to Hastings families regarding a move to distance learning. By the end of November, all students will be participating in full distance learning and last at least until the start of winter break which is December 22nd.
Secondary students, in grade 5-12 will shift to Distance Learning (DL) on Wednesday, November 18th. The last day of Hybrid will be November 13th.
Elementary students K-4 will shift to DL on Monday, November 30th. The last day of Hybrid will be November 20th.
Each group will have transition days where there will be no school. This allows the teachers to make final changes to their lesson plans. Secondary students will not have school on November 16th and 17th. Elementary students will not have school November 23rd through November 25th.
