The first hatch of mayflies finally came to Hastings and could be found as far away from the river as Kwik Trip where here they are drawn to the lottery sign. The City of Hastings will be keeping the lights off in the downtown area until they believe the hatch cycle is complete. Photo by Bruce Karnick.
