October 3

At 2:17 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Vermillion St. After investigation the driver,

Mariana M. Mendez, female age 35 of Minneapolis was arrested for an active warrant.

A report of a burglary was taken in the 700 block of 7th St. W. at 9:21 a.m.

A credit card fraud report was taken in the 2900 block of Riverwood Dr.

At 10:45 a.m., officers received an after-the-fact theft report from the 400 block of Spiral Blvd. There were no suspects at the time.

Officers responded to a report of a male blocking cars at the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Westview Dr. Chad S. Johnson, 34 of Hastings was arrested for disorderly conduct.

At 5:58 p.m., theft was reported in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. The case is under investigation.

At 10:00 p.m., a traffic stop was initiated in the area of Ravenna Trail near Glendale Rd. The driver, Tomasa Martinez of Minneapolis was taken into custody for 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.

October 4

At 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of 2nd St. E.

Officers responded to a theft report at 4:08 p.m. in the 2400 block of Southview Court. An unknown suspect stole a phone charger and owner’s manual from a vehicle.

October 5

At 2:23 p.m., an officer responded to a theft report in the 1700 block of Market Blvd. The case is under investigation.

October 6

At 1:30 p.m., officers investigated a licensing matter in the 1200 block of Vermillion St. This matter was documented for informational purposes.

At 1:50 p.m., officers investigated a licensing matter in the 1600 block of Vermillion St.

An identity theft report was filed at 1:54 p.m. in the 600 block of 8th St. W.

Officers investigated a suspicious incident at 4:59 p.m. in the 800 block of 17th St. W.

At 6:27 p.m., a theft report was received from the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. An iPhone 13 was stolen after an individual forgot it in a store. The case is under investigation.

At 10:27 p.m., a damage to property report was received after a mailbox was damaged in the 1600 block of Highland Dr. The case is under investigation.

At 11:31 p.m., officers stopped out with a group of juveniles who were throwing toilet paper at a residence in the 1400 block of O’Connell Dr. The juveniles were identified, and the homeowner had no concerns about the incident. The juveniles were warned for curfew and disposed of toilet paper.

October 7

At 9:32 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Vermillion St. regarding a past-action theft. An unknown subject stole license registration from a vehicle.

At 4:36 p.m., officers responded to the area of 31st St. W. and Cty. Rd. 47 for a damage to property report. Officers are investigating.

October 8

At 2:34 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of 18th St. W. for a drunkenness call. Officers mediated and provided assistance to the individual.

At 6:54 p.m., officers assisted the Cottage Grove Police Department with locating an individual. Officers located the individual in the 200 block of 33rd St. W. Officers took the individual into custody. The individual was released to the custody of the CGPD.

Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. regarding a report of assault at 8:45 p.m.

October 9

A traffic stop was conducted at 2:26 a.m. in the 2600 block of Vermillion St. After investigation, one juvenile passenger was cited for alcohol consumption by a person under 21.

At 10:19 a.m., an assault was investigated in the 200 block of 4th St. E. No assault occurred.

At 11:05 p.m., an officer located a male with a warrant in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Jayson Williams, 41 of Red Wing was arrested for a felony Washington County warrant for check forgery.

Accident Reports

October 7

•At 11:37 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of N. Frontage Rd. and General Sieben Dr. for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

October 8

•At 2:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Maple St. and 15th St. for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. Katelynn M. Alvarado, 26 of Hastings was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.

October 10

•At 12:13 p.m., officers responded to a reported twovehicle accident at the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Market Blvd.

•A two-vehicle crash was reported at 4:59 p.m. at the intersection of 18th St. and Maple St. Three individuals reported injuries and no citations were issued.

•Officers were dispatched to the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and 160th St. at 5:30 p.m. after a hit-andrun crash was reported. The case is under investigation.

October 14

•At 10:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. involving three vehicles. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

•At 4:32 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported on 25th St. near Vermillion St.
