October 31 1:01 a.m. – An investigation of death occurred in the 3500 block of Riverwood Drive and per medical examiner the body was turned over to the funeral home.

1:24 a.m. – Police responded to a domestic in progress in the 2300 block of Cannon Steet and Joshua Anthony Saldana, 39, Hastings, was arrested for domestic assault.

1:45 a.m. – Officers assisted Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies on a traffic stop in the 600 block of 10th Street East with an arrest of a male driver for a DWI.

7:30 a.m. – An accident was reported in the 1000 block of 11th

Street West.

8:48 a.m. – Damarius Scot Bedeaux, 27, with no permanent address, was cited for damage to property and trespassing in the 300 block of Pine Street by officers responding to a suspicious activity report.

9:33 a.m. – Police assisted Dakota County Social Services in the 2300 block of Oak Street.

11:41 a.m. – A lost property report was filed in the 1000 block of South Pointe Drive.

1:57 p.m. – In the 600 block of 1st Avenue South, Hastings Police were requested by the South Saint Paul Police Department to assist with a weapons call located in their city and utilized their canine for an article search.

2:32 p.m. – An officer responded to a motor vehicle accident in Vermillion Street and Red Wing Boulevard. No injuries were reported, and no citations issued.

2:39 p.m. – Officers responded to a found property call near the 1300 block of Jackson Drive. A debit card was found and turned into the police department.

2:41 p.m. – A catalytic converter theft by unknown suspect(s) was reported in the 1000 block of 1st Street West.

3:24 p.m. – A domestic disturbance was reported in the 600 block of Westview Drive. Officers investigated but lacked evidence to support criminal charges. Officers mediated the situation.

3:55 p.m. – Kyla Vinson, 25, of Vadnais Heights, was issued a citation for disorderly conduct (brawling) and released at the scene in the 1600 block of the South Frontage Road by officers responding to a report that two women were physically fighting. Upon arrival at scene, officers had to intervene to separate the two.

6:37 p.m. – An officer assisted another agency with locating a missing person in the 1000 block of Vermillion Street.

8:03 p.m. – A theft was reported in the block of Amelia Ave and the case is under investigation.

November 1 12:31 a.m. – Ariel Monje Calix, 28, of Saint Paul, was arrested for 4th degree driving while intoxicated, in the area of Highway 35E near Cedar Avenue.

8:13 a.m. – A theft of license was reported in the 500 block of Westview Drive.

9:45 a.m. – Police responded to an accident in the intersection of Highway 316 and Vermillion Street. There were no injuries or citations issued.

12:07 p.m. – Officers responded to the 1000 block of 11th Street West regarding a report of an assault. It is currently under investigation.

7:39 p.m. – A past action theft report was filed in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard and the incident is under investigation.

8:06 p.m. – An officer responded to the 1100 block of 4th Street West for an adult protection case. The officer investigated the case, but there was insufficient evidence to establish probable cause a crime was committed. The case was documented.

November 2 3:15 p.m. – A report of lost property from the 400 block of Tiffany Drive was filed for documentation.

3:57 p.m. – A damage to property report from the 1100 block of Bahls Drive was filed.

3:57 p.m. – A theft was reported from the 100 block of Highway 61.

7:15 p.m. – An individual sleeping behind a business in the 1100 block of Vermillion Street was issued a trespassing notice at the request of the business.

8:11 p.m. – A harassment call was documented on the 3400 block of Vista Court.

8:40 p.m. – Officers responded to a hit and run accident in the 1700 block of South Frontage Road. At this time there are no suspects.

8:49 p.m. – A 14-year-old female was taken into custody for domestic assault in the 1300 block of 17th Street West in response to a domestic report.

November 3 1:03 a.m. – At a traffic stop near the intersection of Eddy Street and 19th Street, Joseph Robert Lee, 22, with no permanent address, was arrested for providing false name to Police Officer, fleeing on foot, and an outstanding warrant.

3:54 a.m. – Officers responded to Cub Foods in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard for a suspicious person.

4:21 p.m. – An officer, via telephone, took a report of a past action order for protection violation in the 1500 block of Stonegate Road and the case is under investigation.

9:39 p.m. – Alisha Rosa Martinez, 35, Hastings, was cited for failure to obey traffic laws on a bicycle and fleeing a police officer by other means than a motor vehicle.

11:10 p.m. – A traffic stop was conducted in the 1500 block of Vermillion Street and driver, Brent John Ambrose, 45, Cambridge, was arrested for driving after revocation, felony drug possession, operating motor vehicle with expired registration, possession of stolen property, and an outstanding warrant. The passenger, Karie Jean Nelson, 39, Fort Ogel Thorpe, was arrested for gross misdemeanor drug possession and outstanding warrant.

11:55 p.m. – An officer investigated a domestic report in the 3500 block of Century Drive and found insufficient evidence to establish probable cause of crime committed. The case was documented.

November 4 7:09 a.m. – An officer responded to a car versus deer vehicle crash.

8:15 a.m. – A Hastings Police Investigator was contacted by the Red Wing Police Department to assist with getting video from a business in the 1600 block of Vermillion Street.

9:06 a.m. – An officer started a theft investigation.

9:33 a.m. – Police responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Drive for a drug related incident.

9:33 a.m. – A report of lost cell phone was filed for insurance purposes.

10:16 a.m. – A report of abandoned property, bike and backpack, was filed in the 1300 block of Vermillion Street. The owner is unknown.

10:59 a.m. – An after-the-fact domestic assault was reported and is under investigation in the block of Shannon Drive.

2:19 p.m. – A theft was reported in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard.

2:52 p.m. – A check forgery investigation was opened in the 700 block of Greten Lane.

4:55 p.m. – An officer handled a trespassing call at Walmart in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

6:53 p.m. – A traffic stop was conducted near Kwik Trip for vehicle with expired registration displayed, and Calena Mae Lingle, owner, was cited for motor vehicle registration – operate vehicle with expired registration.

9:10 p.m. – Unidentified driver fled from traffic stop near the 600 block of 10th Street East and the incident is under investigation.

11:42 p.m. – Leah Ann King, 28, Hastings, was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI in a traffic stop on County Road 47 near 31st Street.

November 5 12:29 a.m. – Police responded to a found property call in the 3200 block of Century Drive. The property was brought to the Hastings Police Department for Safekeeping.

12:56 a.m. – Jermaine Johnson, 49, Saint Paul, was arrested for driving in a traffic stop, after cancellation IPS and a gross misdemeanor Dakota County Warrant for driving after cancellation, in the 600 block of 10th Street East.

1:55 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 1600 block of Ramsey.

5:34 a.m. – Nicholas Watana, 44, Hastings, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault in response to a domestic report in the 4000 block of Martin Lane.

1:56 p.m. – Police investigated a fraud incident in the 1100 block of Villa Court.

7:13 p.m. – Officers responded to the 2500 block of Brooke Place for a medical.

7:59 p.m. – Troy Andrew Cann, 29, Hastings, was cited for misdemeanor theft when a theft was reported in the area of the 1200 block of Vermillion Street.

8:16 p.m. – Police responded to a theft in progress at Fleet Farm in the 800 block of General Sieben Drive and the case is under investigation.

9:38 p.m. – A motor vehicle versus deer accident was reported at the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale, with no injuries reported.

November 6 8:58 a.m. – Police assisted a family in the 1300 block of North Frontage Road.

12:25 p.m. – Assistance was provided to a family with a juvenile issue in the 500 block of 13th Street West.

6:48 p.m. – A hit and run was reported at Walmart and is under investigation.

9:52 p.m. – Police responded to the 1700 block of Carleton Drive for a missing person and it is under investigation.

November 4

9:48 a.m. – A vehicle driven by Natalie Judge, 48, Hastings, hit a deer by Nininger Road and 2nd Street.

November 5

9:39 p.m. – A vehicle driven by Allison Palmer, 45, Mounds View, hit a deer at the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Road. No injuries were reported.

November 6

6:51 p.m. – A hit and run accident was reported at Walmart in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road. A vehicle owned by Samantha Field, 21, Hastings was struck.

November 8 7:21 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 600 block of 31st Street East. Bonita Lucile Weber, 51, Hastings, was issued a citation and arrested for an active Washington County warrant. Drivers were Glen Tucker, 52, Hastings, and Weber.

9:49 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive. Driver Daniel Speranza, 60, Saint Paul, was cited for failure to obey traffic control device. No injuries were reported. Drivers were Sean Qualy, 44, Hastings, and Speranza.

November 9 3:01 p.m. – A hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive. A vehicle owned by Jeffery Destross, 56, Hastings was struck.

3:14 p.m. – A vehicle-electric bike accident was reported at Highway 55 and General Sieben Drive. Driver was Mark Kerstetter, 61, Hastings, and rider was Andrew Kalin, 83, Hastings.
