November 7 1:44 p.m. – An investigation of death occurred in the 500 block of 7th Street West.

8:31 p.m. – Blake Edward Deist, 35, Hudson, was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI after a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 61.

November 8 7:19 a.m. – Bonita Lucile Weber, 51, Hastings, was cited and arrested for an active Washington County warrant after officers responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 600 block of 31st Street East.

8:50 a.m. – Edward Lee Mears, 30, Hastings, was issued a citation for misdemeanor theft after officers investigated a theft that occurred on Nov 7 in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard.

9:02 a.m. – Officers responded to a call about an afterthe- fact dog bite, in the 2500 block of Millard Avenue.

9:42 a.m. – A theft was reported in the 2600 block of Rushmore Road. The stolen item was later found and returned to its owner.

12:21 p.m. – A theft of an air exchange unit from a building by an unknown suspect(s) was reported in the 2100 block of Vermillion Street.

7:07 p.m. – George Orville John Baker, 58, Hastings, was arrested for domestic assault and interference with a 911 phone call in the 1600 block of Eddy Street.

9:47 p.m. – Daniel Martin Speranza, 60, Saint Paul, was cited for failure to obey traffic control device after police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive. No injuries were reported.

November 9 10:00 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of after-thefact theft in the 800 block of General Sieben Drive.

10:24 a.m. – Police assisted Dakota County Social Services with a child protection issue on Meggan Drive.

3:12 p.m. – A vehicle-electric bike accident was reported at Highway 55 and General Sieben Drive.

4:29 p.m. – A hit and run accident was reported in the 200 block of General Sieben Drive.

7:48 p.m. – Two vehicles were observed driving on Highway 55 and General Sieben Drive with their hazard lights on. Vehicles drove to a nearby business and parked next to each other.

November 10 1:46 a.m. – Dyllon Dean Umbreit, 31, Hastings, was cited with disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Nininger Road.

8:28 a.m. – A theft was reported from Spiral View Loop.

10:15 a.m. – Officers responded to a personal injury accident in the 1700 block of Frontage Road North.

1:51 p.m. – A suspicious act was reported in the 1700 block of Market Boulevard.

6:52 p.m. – John Amacher, 37, Hastings, was cited for expired registration in the area of Spiral Boulevard near Industrial Court.

10:15 p.m. – During a traffic stop, Morgan Smith, 27, Hastings, was arrested for misdemeanor fourth degree DUI in the 500 block of Vermillion Street.

11:04 p.m. – Shawn Blanchard, 24, Saint Paul, was issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, during a traffic stop near the 600 block of 10th Street East.

November 11 2:43 a.m. – Jeffrey Nordby, 54, Crystal, was arrested for first degree possession of a controlled substance, driving after cancelled IPS, and giving a name of another to a Police Officer, during a traffic stop in the area of Highway 61 near Spiral View Loop.

2:47 p.m. – An officer conducted an alcohol compliance initiative with businesses throughout the city of Hastings.

5:11 p.m. – A disturbance was reported and documented for informational purposes in the 800 block of 11th Street West.

5:50 p.m. – A medical was reported in the 40 block of Shannon Drive.

6:54 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 15th Street West and Maple Street. Driver, Caelynn Angel Shearen, 20, Hastings, was cited for failure to obey traffic control device.

10:52 p.m. – Alicia Ann Thelen, 34, Inver Grove Heights, was cited for theft in the 1700 block of North Frontage Road.

November 12 2:58 p.m. – Officers responded to the 2100 block of Vermillion

Street for a death investigation.

4:22 p.m. – An adult male was served order for protection after officers responded to an accident on the Hastings Bridge.

7:29 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a domestic in the 700 block of Oaks Drive. After investigation it was determined no crime had been committed.

7:50 p.m. – Nicholas David Anderson, 39, Hastings, was arrested for possession of theft tools, driving after cancelled IPS, and theft, after police responded to a report of theft at the Hastings Fleet Farm.

8:55 p.m. – A possible domestic was reported in the 100 block of Madison Court. Both parties were separated after investigation.

11:15 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a domestic in the 900 block of Lyn Way. There was insufficient evidence to support any charges based on investigation.

11:53 p.m. – Jody Ann Folmar, 48, Hastings, was arrested for felony damage to property after officers responded to a possible domestic in the 1500 block of Tierney Drive.

November 13 6:52 p.m. – A juvenile complaint was reported and the situation mediated by responding officers in 3500 block of Century Drive. Accident Reports November 10 10:17 a.m. – A personal-injury accident was reported in the 1700 block of Frontage Road North. Victim Sandra Unger, 65, Hastings, and driver Sharon Braun, 66, Hastings.

November 11

6:56 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 15th Street West and Maple Street. Caelynn Shearen, 20 was cited for failure to obey traffic control device. Drivers were Faye Collins, 75, Hastings, and Shearen.

November 12 4:23 p.m. – An accident on the Hastings Bridge was reported. During the incident an adult male was served order for protection paperwork. Driver was Nicholas Hess, 39, Minneapolis.

November 14 10:11 a.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 15th and Pine Street. Drivers were Karyn Wasylik, 78, Hastings, and I’Saaciera Brooks, 18, Brooklyn Park. No injuries reported and no citations issued.

November 18 1:21 p.m. – A property damage crash was reported in the 1000 block of Spiral Boulevard. Driver was Jonathon Zacharias, 53, Morden.

4:14 p.m. – A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Featherstone Road and Pleasant Drive. Drivers were Joanne Reinardy, 74, Hastings, and LaJean Briseno, 72, Hampton. No injuries reported and no citations issued.
