November 21

•At 2:39 a.m., officers responded to an animal call near the intersection of Cty. Rd. 47 and Pine St.

•Officers responded to a burglary call at 7:17 a.m. in the 500 block of Spiral Blvd. The case is under investigation.

•A fraudulent call was investigated in the 1900 block of Oak St. An unknown person obtained $9,500.

•An assault was reported in the 1000 block of 11th St. W. The incident is under investigation.

•A vehicle theft was reported in the 1100 block of Spiral Blvd. An unknown subject took a vehicle valued at $7,000.

•Officers responded to a reported past-action theft in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. The case is under investigation.

•At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious activity report near the intersection of Southbound Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. One vehicle was towed as it was abandoned and presented a safety hazard.

November 22

•At 11:19 a.m., an officer assisted a citizen with turning in property to be destroyed.

•Officers responded to a suspicion call in the 1800 block of N. Frontage Rd. Packages belonging to a retail store nearby were located in the parking lot and were returned to the store.

•Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. at 2:10 p.m. regarding a damage to property report. The cost of damages was unknown at the time. The incident is under investigation.

•An individual was served court paperwork at 4:07 p.m. in the 1400 block of Whispering Ct.

November 23

•At 8:54 a.m., officers were informed of a theft that had just occurred in the 1500 block of Vermillion St. The case is under investigation.

•A missing person report was received in the 2400 block of Voyageur Parkway at 11:32 a.m. The case is under investigation.

•At 2 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1100 block of 4th St. W. regarding a reported person in crisis. After investigation, Dylan Kiese, 20 of Winona was issued a citation for misdemeanor criminal damage to property.

•A set of keys were found in the 3300 block of Red Wing Blvd. at 4:30 p.m. and turned into the police department for safekeeping.

•Officers responded to a business in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a past-action theft attempt. After investigation, there were no known suspects at the time.

•At 7:34 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Washington St. after their squad car was struck by another motorist. Dakota County Sheriff’s Office responded and investigated the incident.

•A past-action theft report was received in the 500 block of Vermillion St. The case is under investigation.

•Officers received a fraud complaint in the 2300 block of Vermillion St. at 9:47 p.m. There was no known suspect information at the time and the case is inactive.

•A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 33rd St. After investigation the driver, Tyson R. Johnston, 21 of Wanamingo was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

November 24

•At 4:29 a.m., officers responded to a parking violation in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. One vehicle was cited and towed for a parking violation.

•At 3:17 p.m., a lost property report was received at the Hastings Police Department. A cell phone was reportedly lost in the 1300 block of 18th St. E. the prior day.

November 25

•At 2:18 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of General Sieben Dr. on a vehicle theft report. Upon investigation, the vehicle was located and it was determined not to have been stolen.

•Officers responded to Hwy. 55 and Maple St. for a report of a wrong way driver. The driver was suffering from a possible medical issue.

•At 4:33 p.m., officers assisted parties in trespassing a male from the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. He was trespassed and transported home.

•An officer responded to the 300 block of 33rd St. W. for a past-action theft report. The case is under investigation.

•A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of 10th St. E. After investigation, Preston Bredow, 25 of Melrose was arrested for a felony Dakota County theft warrant. Bo Fisher, 31 of Melrose was also arrested for a felony Dakota County theft warrant.

November 26

•At 1:26 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 10. After investigation, Ashley M. Ryckman, 25 of Cottage Grove was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

•A lost or stolen license plate was reportd in the 2400 block of Voyageur Parkway.

•A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. at 11:55 a.m.

•At 8:22 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Pine St. for a disturbance call. The case was investigated, but there was insufficient evidence to establish probable cause a crime was committed. The case was mediated.

•A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Ramsey St. near 2nd St. E. The driver, Jason Brill, 50 of Hastings was issued a citation for driving after revocation, expired registration and no proof of insurance.

November 27

•At 12:55 a.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of Robert Dr. for a found dog call. The officer brought the dog to the River Bluff Humane Society.

•Officers conducted a welfare check on a female near the intersection of 2nd St. and River St. who was stopping people and asking for a ride. The party ended up having a medical emergency and was transported by medics.

•At 7:28 a.m., theft was reported in the 800 block of General Sieben Dr. The case was documented.

•At 10:17 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the 1400 block of Vermillion St. Russell LaFrenier, 62 of Anoka was arrested for driving after cancellation IPS.

Accident Reports November 24

•At 5:54 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Pine St. and Hwy. 55 for a three-vehicle accident.

November 29

•At 5:39 p.m., officers responded to a past-action hitand- run accident which occurred in the 2400 block of Vermillion St. The case is under investigation.

November 30

•At 8 a.m., officers responded to Vermillion St. and 10th St. for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Nicholas D. Sisterman, 41 of Bayport was cited for failure to stop for a traffic control device and no proof of current insurance.

•Officers responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. after a car struck a vehicle and fled the scene.

December 1

•At 12:03 p.m., an officer responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion St. for an accident involving a vehicle vs. building. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

December 2

•At 10:33 a.m., an officer responded to Westview Dr. just past the intersection with N. Frontage Rd. for an accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

•An officer was dispatched to an accident without injuries at the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and Northridge Dr. No citations were issued.
