Monday, Jan. 23 9:55 a.m. – A report of a death was investigated in the 1700 block of South Frontage Road.

10:04 a.m. – A past action theft report with no suspect information at this time was received in the 1400 block of Vermillion Street.

11:26 a.m. – A report of mail fraud was received in the 1700 block of Pine Street.

3:40 p.m. – Officers were dispatched for a domestic situation in the 10 block of Shannon Drive.

7:51 p.m. – A traffic accident was reported at the intersection of 16th and Pine streets.

10:01 p.m. – Charles J. Patterson, 40, Wabasha, was arrested for fifth degree possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop in the 200 block of 33rd Street West.

Tuesday, Jan. 24 1:25 a.m. – A report of fraud is under investigation in the 1000 block of 15th Street West.

3:38 p.m. – Genny P. Johnson, 32, Hastings, was cited for misdemeanor theft when officers responded to a theft in progress in the 200 block of 33rd Street West. The suspect, Johnson, had left with items that were not paid for.

6:18 p.m. – Officers responded to a civil assist in the 700 block of Eighth Street West. The situation was mediated.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

5:49 a.m. – A potential predatory offender noncompliance investigation was launched in the 200 block of 11th Street West.

10:35 a.m. – Genny P. Johnson, 32, Hastings, was arrested for an active Dakota County warrant in the 3000 block of Red Wing Boulevard.

3:22 p.m. – A report of suspicious circumstances is under investigation in the 100 block of Third Street East.

Thursday, Jan. 26 8:56 a.m. – A report regarding a child protection case was received in the 1000 block of 11th Street West.

9:03 a.m. – Officers documented damage to a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fifth Street West.

9:58 a.m. – A past action theft regarding about $800 in property was received in the 1700 block of Frontage Road North. Suspect is unknown.

2:18 p.m. – Scott Cunningham, 53, Hastings, was arrested and booked in the Dakota County Jail for felony fifth degree drug warrant during a traffic stop in the 400 block of Vermillion Street.

3:14 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported on Vermillion Street near 25th Street. There were no injuries and no citations issued.

4:07 p.m. – A disturbance report was received in the 1700 block of 13th Street West.

6:36 p.m. – A report of a death is under investigation in the 1000 block of First Street West.

9:33 p.m. – Shaqeme J. Pachan, 26, Hastings, will be recommended to be charged with gross misdemeanor child endangerment after officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Sixth Street West. Two children were removed from the house and turned over to family for their safety.

11:37 p.m. – Andi E. Noyola- Hernandez, 34, Brooklyn Park, was arrested for four active Hennepin County warrants when an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 600 block of 10th Street East.

Friday, Jan. 27 3:34 a.m. – Amanda N. Andrews, 28, Ashland, Wis., was arrested for an outstanding warrant and Douglas S. Mattson, 38, Ashland, Wis., was cited for driving without a valid license when officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Second Street and Sibley.

7:09 a.m. – Officers located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the 200 block of 11th Street East.

3:58 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 17th Street West and Walnut Street.

5:45 p.m. – A juvenile complaint was received near the 3500 block of Century Drive.

11:14 p.m. – A report of found drugs at the American Legion is under investigation in the 50 block of Sibley Street.

11:44 p.m. – Jack Marcy, 21, River Falls, Wis., was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving after revocation during a traffic stop near Second Street East and Ramsey Street.

Saturday, Jan. 28 11:41 a.m. – A found vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Pine Street with expired registration displayed was seized and impounded. The plate was removed from the vehicle to be destroyed.

12:18 p.m. – A vehicle was towed when it was observed by an officer that it had been plowed in a snowbank and had not moved for more than a week in the 1300 block of 17th Street West.

5:04 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1500 block of Tyler Street. The item was recovered in a different city and returned to the owner.

9:59 p.m. – Anthony R. G. Schuster, 42, Hastings, was arrested for second degree DWI and child endangerment during a traffic stop near the 1600 block of Vermillion Street.

Sunday, Jan. 29 3:10 a.m. – Officers assisted another agency in the 12500 block of 200th Street East.

3:30 a.m. – A driving while impaired investigation launched by Inver Grove Heights Police Department was assisted by Hastings officers in the 8100 block of Barbara Avenue.

12:11 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported on Highway 61 just north of the Mississippi River Bridge.

11:11 p.m. – Jon P. Anderson, 50, Rochester, was arrested for felony fifth degree drug possession during a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th Street East and Ramsey Street.

Accident reports Thursday, Jan. 26 3:16 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported on Vermillion Street near 25th Street. There were no injuries and no citations issued. Drivers were Leroy E. Allen-Wardell, 43, Hastings, and James J. Caturia, 46, Cannon Falls.

Friday, Jan. 27 3:59 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported at the intersection of 17th Street West and Walnut Street. Drivers were Scott R. Wittl, 39, Hastings, and Carol J. Prestegard, 54, Hampton.

Monday, Jan. 29 12:12 p.m. – A motor vehicle accident with property damage was reported on Highway 61 just north of the Mississippi River Bridge. Driver was Deon L. Carter, 57, Hastings.

Thursday, Feb. 2 4:51 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident with property damage was reported at General Sieben Drive and Tierney Drive. There were no injuries and no citations issued. Drivers were Judith C. Partington, 63, Hastings, and Allison L. Rogers, 26, New Prague.

Friday, Feb. 3 3:12 p.m. – A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 500 block of Westview Drive. Drivers were Shawn Q. Sims, 44, Hastings, and Sunday J. Watkins, 30, Hastings.
