November 2nd 1:52 a.m. Officers responded to the 110 block of Vermillion Street for a Suspicious person. Officers mediated the situation.
2:23 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Vermillion Street and 9th Street. Cha Xue Vang, age 31 of St. Paul Park, was arrested for an active felony warrant.
9:31 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 11th Street regarding a theft from building. An unknown person entered an outbuilding and damaged property.
10:10 a.m. Officers assisted another agency on the 100 block of 23rd Street West.
10:44 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 3rd Street regarding a hit and run collision. While officers were responding to the call for service, another hit and run collision was reported involving the same suspect vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the driver, Michael Kevin Dullinger, was arrested and booked at Dakota County Jail for suspicion of driving under the influence.
10:55 a.m. Officers took a damage to property in the 200block of 2nd St. Graffiti in the stairwell. No suspects.
12:57 p.m. Officers took a fraud report in the 1100 block of Ashland. RP advised she was the victim of a phone scam.
1:42 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at 10th Street and Vermillion Street.
2:06 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of 7th Street and Pine Street. Kim Marie Donnelly, 49 of St. Paul Park, was issued a citation for failure to drive with due care.
3:14 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4th St. W. and Maple St. No injuries reported. Maleec Sellner, 19 of Hastings, was cited for failure to yield.
5:20 p.m. Officer responded to the area of Highway 47 and Pleasant Drive on an animal call.
5:35 p.m. CSC investigation.
6:30 p.m. Officer responded to the 630 Pleasant Drive for an assault report. Officers investigated the situation and Adrian Shambow, 23 of Hastings, was cited for disorderly conduct.
10:21 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop in a vehicle at Lyn Way and South Frontage Road. The driver, Eric Chandler, 33 of Hastings, was cited for no proof of insurance and driving after revocation.
November 3rd 1:27 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Vermillion Street and Spiral View Loop. James Marvell Shaw, 35 of St. Paul, was arrested for felony 3rd degree drug possession.
8:35 a.m. Hastings Police documented a trespass order in the 200 block of 4th St. E.
1:31 p.m. Officers responded to a theft report in the 900 block of 16th St. W. An unknown suspect stole $1,100. No video footage and no suspect information is known at this time.
3:16 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Frontage Rd on a report of a shoplifting in progress. Heather Leigh Oldeen, 43 of Northfield, was detained and found to have $119.42 of stolen merchandise on her person after leaving the store. Oldeen was cited and released for trespassing and shoplifting.
5:18 p.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Cari Park Ln on a report of an animal bite. The suspected dog was taken to be quarantined per city ordinance while the investigation is ongoing.
6:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Cari Park Lane for a damage to property call. One Juvenile was cited for misdemeanor damage to property.
7:17 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of State Street and 6th Street West. After investigation, Theodore Hoffman Hicks, 22 of St. Paul, was arrested for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, driving after cancelation, and no proof of insurance.
9:50 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of General Sieben for a suspicion call. After investigation, officers located a damaged door to an old business. There are no known suspects at this time.
10:10 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 1400 block of Vermillion Street. During the course of the traffic stop a juvenile male was charged by formal complaint for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance. Aiyana Bostwick, 21 of Hastings, was cited for possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.
10:25 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 33rd Street. One juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct.
November 4th 2:51 a.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at 10th Street E and Tyler Street. The driver, Tiffany Wick,, 34 of Red Wing, was cited for driving after revocation.
4:51 a.m. Officers responded to the 1500 block of Vermillion Street for a theft report. There are suspects in this case. The case is under investigation.
12:18 p.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of 4th Street West for a report of found property. A key fob with a photo attached was located.
5:18 p.m. Officers took a hit and run accident report in the 400 block of Sibley Street. An unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle causing moderate damage to the parked vehicle.
November 5th 1:43 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 600 block of 10th Street East. After investigation, one adult male will be charged via formal complaint for no proof of insurance and driving after revocation.
11:18 a.m. Officers were sent to the 200 block of 33rd Street West for a fraud/theft by swindle incident. Officers were unable to identify a suspect.
12:19 p.m. Officers were sent to the 300 block of 33rd Street West for a hit and run accident. Officers were unable to located the offending vehicle.
12:41 p.m. Officers responded to an after the fact assault report at Regina Hospital. The incident was investigated where it was determined there was not sufficient evidence indicating a crime took place. Both parties were advised.
7:11 p.m. Hastings Police made a traffic stop in the 900 block of 4th St. W. A juvenile female was issued a citation for misdemeanor driving without a valid license and misdemeanor no proof of insurance.
November 6th 4:06 a.m. Hastings Police received found property that was collected for safekeeping.
8:11 a.m. Officers were sent to the 2400 block of Vermillion Street for a paper service. Officers served papers.
9:27 a.m. Officers received an after the fact damage to property report. It was reported that on 11/1/2020 around 3:00 a.m. unknown subjects damaged the reporting party’s vehicle on the 1200 block of Forest St.
11:02 a.m. Officers received an after the fact fraud report. The reporting party advised a female party somehow used their banking information to pay for a sprint cell phone bills multiple times over a few months. The case is under investigation.
11:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 33rd Street West for an accident report. Officers investigated and arrested Daniel Shawn Pudil, 56 of Hastings, for DWI. Officers exchanged information for the accident.
12:20 p.m. Officers responded to the area of South Frontage Road and River Street on a parking complaint. Officers located a vehicle parked in violation of posted parking signs. Marcus Adrian Coleman, 27 of Hastings, was cited for the parking violation and the vehicle was towed.
2:39 p.m. Officer responded to the 1100 block of Bahls Drive on a report of a theft by swindle. There are no suspects.
3:40 p.m. Officers received an after the fact report that a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on 1200th block of Vermillion Street. There are no known suspects.
4:14 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 2nd Street East for an after the fact report of a stole bicycle.
4:18 p.m. Officer responded to the 800 block of 10th Street West on a report of stolen license plates that were recovered. Under investigation..
4:30 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of 2nd Street East on a report of a potential executive violation. Officers responded and did not observe any violations.
6:41 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 6th St. W. in regards to a missing person. This case is under investigation.
7:40 p.m. An officer was dispatched to an accident with no injuries located at the intersection of County Road 47 and Village Trail, one citation was issued to Isiah Owen Freyholtz, 19 of Dodge Center, for duty to drive with due care.
8:02 p.m. Officers responded to a medical near the 100 block of 9th St. W.
8:27 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Frontage Rd in regards to a fraud. This is under investigation.
