November 30th 9:01 a.m. Hastings officers responded to the 2900 block of Lightbourn Court on a damage to property report. A vehicle had been entered and it appeared someone had attempted to hotwire the vehicle.

2:07 p.m. Officers located an unoccupied vehicle parked in the parking ramp in the 100 block of 2nd Street West with expired registration. The owner, Zachariah James Ellefson, 32 of Hastings, was issued a citation for misdemeanor – expired registration and the citation was left with the parked vehicle.

2:26 p.m. Officers located an unoccupied vehicle parked in the parking ramp in the 100 block of 2nd Street West with expired registration. The unknown registered owner was issued a citation for misdemeanor – expired registration and the citation was left with the parked vehicle.

4:52 p.m. Officers responded to the 2700 block of Rushmore Road for a burglary report.

9:05 p.m. I, Officer Vomastek, was dispatched to the intersection of Pine St. and 4th St. W in regards to a vehicle accident. Dispatch advised no one was injured.

December 1st 12:24 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Red Wing Boulevard and Tuttle Drive. After investigation, Mohamed Ahmed Musse, 25 of Minneapolis, was issued a misdemeanor citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration and driving after suspension.

1:26 a.m. Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 18th Street and Ravenna Trail. After investigation the driver Lanai Michelle Bowdry, 33 of St. Paul, was cited for driving after cancelation and driving an uninsured vehicle.

8:12 a.m. Officer took a theft report from the 1900 block of 14th St W.

9:52 a.m Officer took a theft and damage to property report from the 1000 block of Lyn Way.

10:13 a.m. Officer took a hit and run report from the 1000 block of Lyn Way.

10:37 a.m. Investigation of death.

11:25 a.m. Officers were sent to the 2400 block of Voyageur Parkway for a theft report.

12:40 p.m. Officers received a road driving complaint on Ravenna Trail and Glendale Road. Officers observed the vehicle tailgate another vehicle and make a lane change without using a turn signal. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver Christopher James Eiler, 38 of Coon Rapids, was issued a citation for driving after revocation.

4:33 p.m. Officers received a report of an accident that occurred near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and 18th Street. No injures were reported.

5:26 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Vermillion Street. Officers located all people involved received information from a witness, and determined the lack of evidence for criminal charges. The case was unfounded.

5:42 p.m. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Vermillion Street for suspicious circumstances.

December 2nd 11:48 a.m. Officer took a fraud report from the 1700 block of South Frontage Rd.

1:50 p.m. Hastings officers were dispatched to the 500 block of McNamara Ave on a report a male at the location has a warrant. The male was eventually located at CVS Pharmacy. Jovan Dale Canon, 38 of Hastings, was booked for a Washington County felony warrant.

3:45 p.m. Officer responded to an address in the 500 block of Kendall Drive to take custody of a loose dog.

3:49 p.m. Officers assisted another agency in the 400 block of Vermillion St.

6:37 p.m. Officers assisted with a civil property assist in the 600 block of 35th Street West. The matter was mediated.

December 3rd 1:52 a.m. Hastings officers were requested by the South St. Paul Police Department to assist the a traffic stop located at the intersection of Concord Exchange and 6th Street in their city. Hastings officers utilized their K9 to sniff the vehicle.

4:52 a.m. Hastings officers assisted the Dakota County Sheriffs Office with a warrant call located on the 1500 block of Vermillion Street, 9:30 a.m. Officers responded to a business on the 200 block of 33rd St. W. regarding a theft and counterfeit of a $50 at the business the night before.

10:45 a.m. Officers met with a man who turned in an abandoned bicycle that he had found earlier in the day at Vets Park. The bicycle was entered into evidence.

12:32 p.m. Officers retrieved an abandoned bicycle on Spiral BLVD near Glendale Rd.

8:47 p.m. Officers received a call to check the welfare of a male. After investigation officers located the male, determined he was safe, and that he did not need police assistance.

8:53 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Ashland Street and 19th Street West to assist Dakota County Deputies on a traffic stop.

10:53 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of 8th St. E. and Sibley St. During the investigation of the stop officers cited and released Chao Vang, 34 of St. Paul, for driving after revocation.

December 4th 2:43 a.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Vermillion Street and 10th Street East. The driver was given a verbal warning.

3:20 a.m. Officers responded to the 1500 block of Eddy St. for a medical. After investigation an adult male was transported to the hospital.

11:42 a.m. Officers investigated fraud that originated in the 4000 block of Starling Dr. an unknown subject obtained about $400.00 in goods.

3:58 p.m. HPD assisted an agency in Goodhue County.

5:12 p.m. Officers assisted Dakota County Deputies on the 17000 block of Knox Path with a civil assist.

11:07 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop at Vermillion Street and 12th Street West. Sara Swart, 33 of Fridley, was cited for driving after suspension, expired registration, and no proof of insurance.

December 5th 1:24 a.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Ravenna Trail and Glendale Road. Terrell Booker, 37 of Saint Paul, was taken into custody for a Dakota County warrant. Terrell was cited for driving after revocation.

4:38 a.m. Officers witnessed a crash as a result of a pursuit out of Prescott Wisconsin in the 300 block of Vermillion Street. Officers responded to assist and helped manage the scene. The suspect was taken into custody but later released for medial care. One suspect is to be charged via formal complaint for stolen property offenses and fleeing the scene of an accident.

6:50 a.m. Officers initiated a pursuit of a vehicle on the 1500 block of Vermillion St. As it was traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was eventually stopped in Goodhue County by Dakota County Deputies. Te driver Melissa Schutt, 37 of Hastings, will be charges by formal complaint for: Fleeing in motor vehicle (felony), reckless driving (gross-misdemeanor), and speeding (misdemeanor).

10:51 a.m. It was reported to officers that license plates were stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of 19th St. W. No suspects.

12:40 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 17th Street West regarding a fraud complaint. An unknown person or persons removed over $2500 from a bank account through an online application.

11:27 p.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of an individual in the 3400 block of Leroy Ave. Officers made contact with the subject who did not appear to be in distress or be in need of officers assistance.

December 6th 1:28 a.m. Officer responded to a damage to property in the 2200 block of Cannon St. officer processed the scene and found a small metal object had struck the victims window causing minor damage worth approximately $100-200. There was no suspects information and the case is inactive.

2:06 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 900 block of Tyler Street. The driver William Miller, 41 of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation. The passenger Catherine Dahlberg, 57 of Hastings, was taken into custody for a Dakota County warrant.

7:01 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 12th Street regarding a suspicious act. After further investigation, it was determined the reporting party’s vehicle had been entered, as well as the reporting party’s garage. Approximately $400 cash was removed from the garage and $180 worth of items were removed from the vehicle. Under investigation.

8:02 a.m. An officer discovered the park sign at Old Mill Park had been vandalized.

1:11 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Bailey Street regarding a trespassing complaint. An unwelcome individual arrived at the address and was formally trespassed.

6:58 p.m. Officers responded to assist Dakota County Deputies with a traffic stop near the intersection of 160th St. East and Pleasant Drive.

Hastings Accident Report December 9th 10:58 a.m. I (ODC. Bukkila #1429) responded to a delayed crash report. Jaime Ruelas Orozco, 39 of Hastings, was cited for no insurance.

December 10th 4:07 p.m. I officer Weid, responded to Red Wing Boulevard and Tiffany Drive for a motor vehicle property damage accident. No injuries reported, no citations

issued. 6:39 p.m. I, officer Walser was dispatched to an accident with no injuries at the intersection of River Street and 4th Street.

December 11th 5:48 p.m. Officers took a property damage accident report in the 2200 block of Vermillion St.
