10:52 a.m. Officers impounded several vehicles from the 800 block of 10th St. W.

11:23 a.m. A counterfeit bill was taken as evidence in the 1500 block of Vermillion St. 4:48 p.m. Officers responded to an accident involving a vehicle vs building. No injuries reported and no citations issued.

5:19 p.m. Officers responded to 1700 block of Frontage Road N. on a report of a hit and run accident. No suspects.

6:53 p.m. Officers responded to a utility call out near the intersection of Vermillion Street and 19th Street. MNDOT was advised of a downed street sign and a dot tag was placed on the sign.

9:47 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Highway 55 and Pleasant Drive. The driver Amy Williams, 36 of St. Paul, was charged by formal complaint for intent to escape taxes.

9:47 p.m. Officers responded to a medical in the 1300 block of 15th Street West. The incident is under investigation.

December 15th 8:11 a.m. Officers assisted another agency in the 200 block of 4th St. E.

8:26 a.m. Officers took a burglary report in the 1000 block of Lyn Way, several items were taken from a garage. No suspects.

10:17 a.m. Officers recovered a found bicycle.

12:02 p.m. Officers were notified of a dog bite incident which occurred on 12- 14-2020.

12:06 p.m. Officers responded to Meggan Dr. on a report of a dog bite incident. The case is under investigation.

9:11 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 9th St. Officers investigated the traffic stop and cited Sai Thao, 27 of Saint Paul, for driving after revocation and speeding.

December 16th 9:42 a.m. Officers responded to a medical at the 2400 block of Yellowstone Dr. Upon Arrival, officers administered Narcan on one patient and assisted medics as needed.

12:21 a.m. Officer conducted a check welfare.

1:16 p.m. Officers received a report of an after the fact damage to property. Multiple Christmas inflatable ornaments had been destroyed at the 2100 block of Glacier Way. There are no suspects.

4:06 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of 5th St. W. on a report of an adult protection incident. The case was investigated, and all parties were returned to their families for further care.

4:43 p.m. Officers responded to a reported overdose at the 3000 block of Vermillion St. Officers and medics responded where a female patient was transported after being administered Narcan.

8:54 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 18th Street E. and Tyler Street. Raymond Hinton, 31 of St. Paul, was arrested for a gross misdemeanor violation driving after cancellation- inimical to public safety. (MN State Statute 171.24.5) December 17th 8:36 a.m. Officers received an after the fact theft report at the 4000 block of Shannon Dr. The case is under investigation.

10:21 a.m. Conducted a check welfare.

11:05 a.m. Officers investigated an assault in the 100 block of Highway 55.

12:59 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1300 block of South Frontage Road for an ordinance violation. Officers did not observe any violations and took no enforcement action.

2:39 p.m. Officers towed a vehicle on the 3000 block of Riverwood Dr. The registered owner, Loc Do, was issued a citation for a parking violation and for displaying expired registration.

3:04 p.m. Officers investigated a death; per medical examiner the body was turned over to the funeral home.

3:33 p.m. Officers received information from another agency regarding suspicious circumstances on the 100 block of 6th Street East.

6:12 p.m. A Hastings Officer assisted a Dakota County Deputy near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 6th St. December 18th 3:39 a.m. Officers responded to a drunkenness’ call near the 100 block of Florence St. The incident was mediated.

11:25 a.m. Officers received an after the fact report of possible identity theft. There are no suspects.

11:47 a.m. Officers cited Alex David Hall, 34 of Kellogg, was cited for a parking ordinance offense.

12:30 p.m. Officers took an after the fact theft report of a trailer near the 2500 block of Millard Ave. The case is under investigation.

1:29 p.m. Officers located a vehicle parked in the 100 block of 2nd Street West that had expired registration. The vehicle’s tires were chalked and rechecked 72 hours later. The vehicle was found to have not moved, so the owner, Kyle Robert Fischbach, 33 of Hastings, was issued a citation for the city ordinance violation.

11:36 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a weapon related incident in the 50 block of Meggan Drive. This matter is under investigation.

11:42 p.m. AQ Hastings Officer assisted Dakota County Deputies with an accident call near 18th St. and Ravenna Trl.

December 19th 4:52 p.m. Officers were called to the 1700 block of North Frontage Road for a theft report. A bag of purchased items were taken from a cart. No suspects. Inactive.

11:16 p.m. Officers observed a vehicle perform an improper turn at the intersection of 10th St. and Vermillion St. and initiated a traffic stop. After investigating the driver was found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. Shawn Matthew Fisher, 45 of Welch, was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. (171.02.1) 11:54 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 1200 block of North Frontage Road. The driver Tyler Kasel, 19 of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation, no proof of insurance, and possession of Marijuana.

December 20th 12:56 p.m. Hastings officers responded to the 300 block of 33rd St. W. on a missing property call.

9:46 p.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Nininger Road for a theft report. Officer investigated the incident and determined it was a damage to property report. The case is under investigation.

Accident Report December 19th 2:37 p.m. Hastings Officers responded to the 1300 block of Frontage Road S. on a hit and run property damage accident.

December 20th 9:35 p.m. Officers responded to an accident near the intersection of Eddy Street and 12th Street West. After investigation Gracie Ma Schafer, 23 of Hastings, was cited for careless driving.

December 23rd 3:50 p.m. I (Ofc. Bukkila #1429) was driving north of General Sieben Drive and I came across a crash involving a semi-truck with trailer and passenger car. They were in the intersection of General Sieben Dr and S. Frontage Rd. No citations issued and no injuries reported.

December 24th 10:35 a.m. An officer responded to the 3600 block of Red Wing Blvd for a two-vehicle crash with injuries. Mark James Reinardy, 47 of Hastings, was issued a citation for fail to yield left turn.

2:24 p.m. Officer was dispatched to the intersection of 4th Street West and Whispering Lane on a report of a two-vehicle crash. No injuries and no citations issued.
