July 12

4:47 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 15th St. W. and Ashland St. The driver, Jason Brill, 49 of Hastings, was arrested for five Dakota County warrants.

8:21 a.m.

A missing person report was taken in the 300 block of

14th St. W.

8:27 a.m.

Officers were called to the Hastings High School for a report of a violation of a harassment/restraining order. The incident is under investigation.

11:30 a.m.

Officers took an internet suspicion call in the 200 block of Tuttle Dr. The incident is under investigation.

1:56 p.m.

A theft report was taken in the area of Ramsey St. and 1st St. West.

6:34 p.m.

An identity theft report was taken in the 3400 block of Olson Dr. The case is under investigation.

9:12 p.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of

12th St. W.

July 13

2:14 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Sibley St. and 10th St. E. Htoo Paw of St. Paul was cited for driving with a suspended license and displaying improper registration.

7:07 a.m.

Officers took a theft of vehicle report in the 200 block of Galena St. There were no suspects at the time.

8:39 a.m.

An online report of fraud was received from the 4000 block of Shannon Dr.

3:06 p.m. Officers received a report of threats in the 400 block of

3rd St.

4:14 p.m.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of Pine St. for a report of fraud. The incident is under investigation.

4:37 p.m.

A motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported near the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and 160th St. E.

5:01 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to a found bicycle call in the

1200 block of Forest St.

July 14

6:53 a.m.

A theft from vehicle complaint waws taken in the 1800 block of Walnut St. No suspects were reported at the time.

7:53 a.m.

A motor vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of Bahls Dr. and Lyn Way. No injuries were reported. Charish S. Thompson, 27 of Hastings, was cited for Driving After Revocation and no insurance.

10:48 a.m.

Officers responded to the area of Lake Rebecca for a report of a goose shot by a pellet gun. Officers located the suspect and referred the case to the DNR for enforcement/charges.

2:42 p.m.

The Dakota County Sherriff’s Office was assisted in locating a suspect who had just fled from the courthouse with a felony warrant. Cody Penrose, 29 of Hastings, was apprehended in the 1500 block of Hwy. 55 and placed under arrest and ultimately brought to the Dakota County Jail.

5:37 p.m.

A burglary report was received in the 3100 block of Cannon St. The incident is under investigation.

8:38 p.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. The situation was mediated with the assistance of the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.

9:29 p.m.

A damage to property report was received in the 400 block of 3rd St. W. The case is under investigation.

July 15

9:32 a.m.

Officers were notified of a suspicious incident in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr.

12:15 p.m.

The Hastings Police Department assisted the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension with a search warrant in the 300 block of 2nd St. E.

2:33 p.m.

Officers responded to a civil assist call in the 600 block Pleasant Dr.

7:15 p.m.

Officers located an individual with a warrant. Timothy L. Otto, 32 of Hastings, was arrested for an active Washington County warrant and booked into the Dakota County Jail.

9:54 p.m.

Officers responded to a drunkenness complaint on Amelia Ave. near Shannon Dr. After investigation, Matthew M. Qualy, 18 of Hastings, was arrested for gross misdemeanor providing alcohol to a minor.

July 16

2:45 a.m.

An officer collected found drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of 3rd St. E.

5:13 a.m.

Officers responded to a liquor law violation in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. The incident is under investigation.

7:08 a.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Ramsey St. for a parking violation. Two vehicles were towed.

8:25 a.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 2nd St. E. for a parking violation. One vehicle was towed.

9:09 a.m.

A property damage report was taken from the 600 block of Vermillion St. No suspect information was known.

4:06 p.m.

Officers received an after the fact hit and run at a business in the 1700 block of Market Blvd. There were no suspects.

5:18 p.m.

Officers were dispatched near the intersection of Pine St. and 4th St. for a two-vehicle crash with minor injuries to both drivers. Rebecca L. Peterson, 72 of Hastings, was cited with failure to drive with due care – speed.

6:46 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of 2nd St. E. and Sibley St. regarding a report of an assault Alys L. Dearborn,

50 of Prescott, was arrested for Misdemeanor Assault in the

5th Degree.

10:45 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 500 block of Tiffany Dr. The driver, Leo Fick, 31 of Hastings, will be formally charged for Mn. State Statute Intent to Escape Tax.

July 17

12:56 a.m.

Officers responded to the 300 block of 2nd St. E. for a medical call. After investigation, a male was transported to the hospital.

6:54 a.m.

A found bike and cell phone were picked up in the 500 block of 3rd St. W. Both were placed into evidence.

7:31 a.m.

A theft report was taken near Spiral View Loop. No suspect information was known.

10:35 a.m.

Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Vermillion St. and 33rd St.

2:22 p.m.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Westview Dr. on a after the fact property damage call.

3:25 p.m.

Officers responded to a medical call in the 400 block of Hayes St.

8:26 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. regarding a theft. The case is under investigation.

11:56 p.m.

Officers were flagged down by security staff in the 3400 block of Vermillion St. Upon arrival, officers were directed toward a male who was said to have been assaulting individuals. Officers detained the male who refused to speak about the incident. Utilizing witness statements, Christopher R. Haglund was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing a police officer.

July 18

1:02 a.m.

An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 23rd St. W. Paige Howard, 28 of Lake City, was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Goodhue County warrant.

4:04 a.m.

Officers located a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Fallbrooke Dr. Officers investigated the suspicion and arrested Desiree L. Lopez, 20 of Red Wing, and Zara A. Kilbride, 19 of Red Wing, for 5th Degree Drugs.

3:39 p.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Tyler St. for a report of a possible vehicle theft. The vehicle was located and not stolen.
