A driving complaint was received near the intersection of 12th St. and Oak St. Troy L. Ball, 41 of Hampton, was arrested for DWI.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 18th St. W. for a civil assist. The situation was mediated.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 1400 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Daryale D. Harris, 25 of South St. Paul, was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Dakota County warrant, 3rd Degree Drug Possession and giving a peace officer a false name. July 20 3:59 a.m.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of Vermillion St. for a male with a warrant that wanted to turn himself in. Gregory James, 62 of Farmington, was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Dakota County DWI warrant.

Officers were requested by the Inver Grove Heights Police Department to assist with a theft located in the 5300 block of Robert Trail in their city. Hastings Officers utilized their K9 for an article search. July 21 6:39 a.m.

Hastings Fire Department was assisted in the 400 block of Eddy St.

Officers responded to a trespass concern in the 200 block of Sibley St. The matter was investigated, and no citations were issued.

Officers began a death investigation in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr.

A lost property call was received in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. The caller lost a cellphone in the area after leaving it on a vehicle.

A found property call was received in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. A cellphone was found in the area.

A threats report was received in the 500 block of 11th St. W. An officer investigated the case and identified a suspect. The case is under investigation.

A vehicle was stopped in the 600 block of Vermillion St. Alexander M. O’Connor, 20 of Hastings, was cited for driving without insurance.

9:41 p.m.

A vehicle was stopped in the 400 block of Sibley St. Syrena D. Woodard, 39 of Minneapolis, was cited for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.

July 22 4:00 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted for a speed violation near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. After investigation, the driver, Mason R. Kruse, 18 of Hastings, was cited for Possession of Marijuana in a vehicle. 9:35 a.m.

A death investigation was started in the 300 block of Ramsey St.

10:19 a.m.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of 4th St. E. for a suspicious person. Officers arrested Terrence L. Shambley, 41 of St. Paul, for warrants for his arrest.

12:58 p.m.

A theft was investigated from the 1700 block of Frontage Rd. N. An unknown subject stole about $173 in goods.

1:21 p.m.

Officers were notified of a theft of motor vehicle from the 1400 block of Vermillion St. Officers are investigating.

2:35 p.m.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 900 block of Maple St. The matter is under investigation.

An officer was requested to respond to the 1400 block of 4th St. W. for a civil assist. The situation was mediated.

July 23 3:34 a.m.

Officers located an individual with a warrant in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Adam Freiermuth, 32 of Hastings, was taken into custody for his Dakota County warrant.

9:11 a.m.

An abandoned bike was picked up from the 500 block of 11th St. W.

Some found keys were received in the 300 block of Crestview Dr.

Officers responded to a soliciting complaint near the intersection of 36th St. W. and Village Tr.

Officers were dispatched to a driving complaint as a vehicle traveled into the City of Hastings. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. and investigated the complaint. William M. Palmer, 28 of Hastings, was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI and 5th Degree Drug Possession. The case is under investigation.
