March 8th 2:01 a.m. Officer stopped a suspicious male near the 400 block of 17th Street E. Kenneth Edsel Mead, 22 of Hastings, was arrested for two warrants and cited for driving after suspension, failure to carry proof of insurance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:47 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Vermillion Street and 23rd Street West. The driver Kevin Forrest, 21 of Maplewood, was cited for driving after revocation. A juvenile was cited for curfew violation. Officers transported the juvenile home.

7:04 p.m. Officers received an identify theft report in the 1900 block of Rose Way.

11:25 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Three Rivers Drive for a medical.

March 9th 10:53 a.m. Officers responded to 1300 block of N Frontage Road on a welfare check.

1:46 p.m. An officer investigated suspicious circumstances in the 1600 block of N. Frontage Road. As a result of the investigation there were no charges pending as no crimes were committed.

3:13 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 4th Street East for a suspicious incident.

4:03 p.m. Officers arrested Daniel John Wilhem, 35 of Eagan, for a fugitive from Justice/ Warrant arrest. The arrest occurred in the 200 block of 4th Street East.

6:17 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Tyler Street for a warrant service. Jacqueline Hoving, 56 of Hastings, was taken into custody for a warrant.

6:57 p.m. Officers conducted a warrant check in the 1300 block of 18th Street West. Daniel Lee Maslowski, 36 of Hastings, was arrested for his active warrant.

9:38 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 12th Street East and Vermillion Street. After investigation Jordan Michael Little, 30 of New Brighton, was arrested for an active warrant, check forgery, and possession of Marijuana. Brielle Diane Gara, 27 of Brooklyn Center, was cited for possession of an open container.

10:24 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a disturbance near the 2400 block of Voyageur Parkway. Michael Paul Lind, 28 of Randolph, was arrested for felony 5th degree drug possession.

March 10th 2:33 p.m. An officer observed a vehicle with expired registration tabs traveling westbound in the area of Pine and 2nd St. W. The officer initiated a traffic stop and was able to confirm the vehicles registration was expired. The driver Rose Maria Hernandez, 59 of Cottage Grove, was cited and released for expired registration.

3:14 p.m. Officer took a identity theft report.

6:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 8th St. W. for a theft of package report. There are no known suspects at this time.

9:38 p.m. Officers responded to a hit and run collision near the intersection of Highway 55 and Vermillion Street. The incident is under investigation.

March 11th 4:22 p.m. Officer took a report for a suspicious act.

7:55 p.m. An officer investigated a fraud incident that occurred on the 1400 block of Vermillion Street on 1/31/2021. After investigation Conrad Kellerman, 52 of Turtle Lake WI, will be charged by formal complaint for financial transaction card fraud.

8:17 p.m. Officers took a report of a lost wallet. The caller did not know if it was stolen or simply lost. This report was written for informational purposes in the event the EBT card or MN ID that were in the wallet are used fraudulently.

9:16 p.m. Officers investigated a welfare check located in the 1100 block of Bahls Drive. This case was documented for informational purposes. 9:23 p.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of Kendall Dr. for a check the welfare call. After investigation a juvenile female was transported to the hospital.

10:04 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 1200 block of Vermillion Street. Xavier Bauer, 17 of Hampton, was issued a citation for petty misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.

March 12th 4:20 p.m. Officers received an after the fact report involving stolen license plates at the 1900 block of Rose Way. There are no suspects.

10:34 p.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Frontage Rd. S. for a theft report. There are no known suspects at this time.

10:34 p.m. Officers stopped a vehicle for driving conduct and since the vehicle showed the registered owner was revoked. The driver was a different individual than the registered owner. He could not provide insurance for the vehicle. The individual was warned for the traffic offenses.

March 13th 3:29 a.m. Officers responded to an out of control recreational fire in the 30 block of Meggan Drive. Officers located a fire consisting of furniture and mattresses at the suspect residence close enough to the house to melt the siding. Randy Carl Olson, 31 of Hastings, was cited for burning prohibited items.

9:26 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Vermillion Street. David John Wiech, 56 of Hastings, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

March 14th 3:52 a.m. Officers located a suspicious vehicle in the 2100 block of Vermillion Street. David John Walls, 40 of Glenwood, was arrested for 5th degree drug possession. Johnathan Leonard Daley, 29 of International Falls, was also arrested for 5th degree drug possession.

5:46 p.m. Officers investigated a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle and arrested Enrique Medina Perez, 58 of St. Paul, for felony driving while intoxicated and misdemeanor possession of open container of alcohol.
