March 15th

1:56 a.m. A Hastings Officer responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion St. to assist Dakota County Deputies with a suspicion call.

9:38 a.m. Officer responded to 1200 block of Vermillion St. on a report of a hit and run in the parking lot.

10:01 a.m. Officers took a theft of license plate in the 2900 block of Enterprise Ave.

6:30 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a single vehicle crash neat the intersection of 18th St. E. and Ravenna Trail.

7:06 p.m. An officer responded to the intersection of Northridge Drive and Wyndham Hills Drive for a single vehicle accident. No injuries reported and no citations issued.

7:55 p.m. Officers investigated a past action theft in the

500 block of Westview Drive. Approximately $1100.00 in value was taken. This matter is under investigation.

11:31 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check in the 1100 Block of Nininger Road.

March 16th

12:27 a.m. A Hastings Officer conducted a traffic stop near the 2400 block of Vermillion Street. The driver Danika Renae Harrell, 32 of St. Paul, was arrested for drug possession and multiple other misdemeanor charges. The passenger Mark Lewis Kelleher, 34 of St. Paul, was arrested for an outstanding probation warrant. Another driver who arrived on the scene Erica Michele Larkin, 40 of Newport, was cited for driving after suspension.

7:36 a.m. Officers responded to 2600 block of Woodcliffe Trail on a theft from trailer report. No suspects.

9:37 a.m. Officers were called to the 1600 block of Ashland St. for a reported theft of a license plate. Inactive.

11:27 a.m. Officers assisted State Patrol and stopped a vehicle.

1:55 p.m. CSC investigation.

3:34 p.m. Officers investigated fraud that occurred in the 1900 block of Rose Way. An unknown subject obtained about $2000.00 in goods.

3:55 p.m. A vehicle was impounded from the 900 block of Bahls Dr.

4:41 p.m. Officers were notified of a hit and run accident in the 900 block of Vermillion St. the suspect driver was followed and eventually stopped on Rivershore Dr. Andrew James Nipp, 21 of Hastings, was arrested for DWI.

6:25 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Eddy Street. After investigations, Abdimajid Awel Mohamed, 18 of Hastings, was cited for misdemeanor instruction permit violation and misdemeanor expired registration.

6:53 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in CP Adams Park. After investigation, Alfred Wayne Dunkel, 82 of Hastings, was issued a citation for misdemeanor expired registration.

7:21 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 25th Street and Vermillion Street. Marcell Kilil Devond Thompson, 23 of St. Paul, was cited for possession of marijuana.

8:28 p.m. An officer responded to the 900 block of 6th Street W. for a civil assist. The situation was mediated.

10:37 p.m. An officer investigated a damage to property at the 800 block of 18th St. E. there is suspect information in this case. The case is under investigation.

March 17th

2:10 p.m. Officers were called to the 400 block of Tiffany Drive for a fraud report. Tyler Nicholas Kavitz, 18 of Hastings, and Natalie Gayle Alvey, 21 of Hastings, were arrested.

9:08 p.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Highway 55 near Ashland Street. The driver Henry Robinson, 81 of Hastings, was cited for driving after cancellation.

9:12 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of 3rd Street West for a motor vehicle accident.

March 18th

9:01 a.m. Patient found deceased in the 1700 block of North Frontage Rd. The matter is under investigation.

11:13 a.m. Hastings Officers responded to the 500 block of River St. on a report of found property.

4:56 p.m. Officers received a lost property call regarding a missing set of keys. No keys had been turned in matching the missing keys.

5:15 p.m. Hastings Police responded to the 100 block of

2nd St. E. for found property. The property was collected and entered into evidence.

7:13 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Kendall Dr. for a disturbance. Officers investigated the call and mediated a solution. This incident was documented for informational purposes.

March 19th

12:29 a.m. Officers responded to the 8000 block of Highway

55 to assist the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office on a theft in progress call.

4:25 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near the 1400 block of Vermillion Street. The driver Andrew Beyer, 38 of Hastings, was cited for expired registration.

7:57 a.m. Officers responded to the area of 160th St. E. and General Sieben Dr. on a two vehicle crash with injuries. No citations issued.

2:36 p.m. Hastings Officers responded ot the 2300 block of Rushmore Rd. on a fraud report.

9:37 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Vermillion Street. Patrick Martin Orman, 76 of Hastings, was found to be impaired and was arrested for DWI.

March 20th

12:17 p.m. Officers received a report of a found back pack. The owner was unknown and it was placed into the evidence room.

1:58 p.m. Officer responded to the 1600 block of 4th St. E. to recover multiple items found in a creek. Items were inventoried for safe keeping.

3:49 p.m. Officers responded to a medical in the 500 block of 18th St. E.

5:56 p.m. An officer took a report of a missing purse. The purse was located and the case is inactive.

9:27 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 61 and 3rd St. E.

10:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Kendall Drive for a disturbance. Matthew Gene Lott, 35 of Hastings, was arrested for disorderly conduct. At jail, deputies found he was in possession of suspected THC oil. Matthew was then also charged with introduction of narcotics into a correctional facility.

March 21st

10:45 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 4th St. E. on found property. The property has no owner and will be placed into evidence.

7:33 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 7th St. E. for a theft report. Under investigation.

8:00 p.m. Officers took a report of lewd behavior near the

900 block of 14th Street W. Ryan Cauchy, 28 of Hastings, was cited for disorderly conduct.
