An identity theft report was taken in the 100 block of 3rd S. E.
April 13 6:22 a.m.
Officers responded near the intersection of Ashland St. and Hwy. 55 for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. No citations were issued. 12:04 p.m.
An officer responded to the 1800 block of Ashland St. to document a damage to property case that occurred two weeks prior. The damage loss was approximately $300. The victim had no suspect information. 12:14 p.m. A report was taken of stolen catalytic converter in the 1800 block of Oak St. 1:39 p.m.
Officers responded to Madison Ct. to take a report of a past action suspicious act. 2:03 p.m.
A past action theft report was taken in the 900 block of 31st St. W. There were no suspects at the time.
April 14 8:34 a.m.
A theft call was documented in the 1200 block of 18th St. E. The victim was swindled out of approximately $726.00. There was no suspect information. 10:49 a.m.
Officers took an informational report in the 1400 block of Erickson Dr. for an incident that occurred in Burnsville.
3:17 p.m.
A vehicle was stopped for loud exhaust in the 300 block of Sibley St. The vehicle had wrong tabs on it. The driver was released pending further investigation. 4:13 p.m.
A fraud report was taken in the 1100 block of Ashland St. 4:17 p.m.
A dog was recovered wandering the neighborhood in the 400 block of 31st St. E. No owner was found. The dog was taken to the Red Wing Humane Society. 9:39 p.m.
An officer took a missing person/check the welfare report from the 1200 block of Sibley St. The incident is under investigation.
April 15 12:55 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. The matter is under investigation.
9:05 a.m.
Officers were notified of a harassment issue in the 900 block of 5th St. W. A report was filed. 9:14 a.m.
An officer responded to the 400 block of 4th St. W. to assist another agency. A vehicle used in a theft in another city was located and the custody of the vehicle was turned over to the investigating agency.
10:50 a.m.
While officers were investigating another incident in the 400 block of 4th St. W., officers located multiple vehicle parts on a trailer that was said to be going for scrap. Due to the recent uptick in catalytic converter thefts, the incident was documented.
11:08 a.m.
An attempted fraud report was taken in the 2200 block of Glacier Way.
2:33 p.m.
An attempted identity theft report was taken in the 1800 block of 13th St. There were no suspects at the time.
April 16 7:40 a.m.
Officers investigated a damage to property incident in the 100 block of Ramsey St. after an unknown subject caused about $50 in damage.
12:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Ramsey St. After investigating, one vehicle was impounded.
1:54 p.m.
Officers responded to the 700 block of 31st St. W. for a fraud report.
2:39 p.m.
Officers assisted another agency with an incident in the 500 block of 18th St. W.

Officers were notified of lost property in the 1100 block of Nininger Rd.

6:34 p.m.
Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Pleasant Dr. for a three-vehicle accident without injuries. After investigating, Peyton M. Simonis, 30 of Hastings, was issued a citation for Petty Misdemeanor – Fail to Obey Traffic Control Device.
7:31 p.m.
Officers responded to an animal complaint in the 300 block of Frederick Circle. The incident is under investigation.
9:44 p.m.
Officers responded to a suspicion call near the 100 block of 11th St. E.
10:00 p.m.
Officers responded to a medical call in the 500 block of Kendall Dr.
April 17 12:38 a.m.
Officers responded to the 400 block of 8th St. E. for a medical call. After investigation, Jakob J. Kowalk, 26 of Hastings, was arrested for an active Felony Warrant.
1:40 a.m.
A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle near the intersection of Sibley St. and 3rd St. The driver, Bryant Gunter, 45 of St. Paul, was cited for Driving after Revocation.
7:49 a.m.
A vehicle was observed with expired registration parked in the 100 block of Riverdale Dr. Grand Simons, 27 of Minneapolis, was cited for the violation.
8:20 a.m.
A vehicle was parked that had violated the city parking ordinance in the 400 block of Sibley St. The vehicle was towed and the owner, Thong Chanracksmey, 25 of Hastings, was cited for the offense.
8:35 a.m.
Officers were sent to the 100 block of Sandpiper Circle for a reported suspicious act.
9:41 a.m.
Officers were notified of a damage to property and theft incident in the 2700 block of Rushmore Rd.
10:03 a.m.
Officers were sent to the 500 block of Marmik Circle for a reported theft.
12:51 p.m.
A vehicle was observed parked in the 500 block of McNamara St. with expired registration displayed. Thomas Laurie, 22 of Hastings, was issued a citation for the violation.
12:59 p.m.
While on patrol in the 1500 block of Bailey St., a vehicle was observed parked with expired registration. John Caturia, 19 of Hastings, was cited for the violation.
1:13 p.m.
An officer observed a vehicle parked in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. with expired registration displayed. Steven Lee, 24 of Hastings, was issued a citation for the violation.
4:21 p.m.
Officers responded to a dog bite call in the 600 block of 4th St. W. The dog was quarantined at Goodhue County Animal Shelter.
April 18 2:06 a.m.
A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. E. for a traffic violatin.
2:29 a.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 7th St. W. After investigating, Bryan P. Christner, 33 of Hastings, was arrested for 2nd Degree DWI.
10:06 a.m.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on General Sieben Dr. There were no injuries or citations issued.
11:31 a.m.
An investigation of a death was conducted in the 600 block of 6th St. W.
12:12 p.m.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 23rd St. W. The incident was mediated.
4:48 p.m.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Westview Dr. for a damage to property report. An unknown female broke the driver’s door window with a tire iron.
5:15 p.m.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Vermillion St. for a theft. The incident is under investigation.
