February 14

12:53 a.m.

An officer investigated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Vermillion St. near 10th St. E. The driver, Po Kyaw, 36 of St. Paul was cited for expired registration.

2:20 a.m. An officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hwy. 55 near River St. During the course of the traffic stop, the officer located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a verbal warning for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

10:36 a.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block area of 11th St. W. regarding a juvenile complaint. One juvenile male was cited for disorderly conduct.

8:31 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to Shannon Dr. regarding a medical call. One patient was transported to the hospital.

February 15

7:40 a.m.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on the 300 block of Cari Park Lane. Clayton D. Schmidt, 27 of Woodbury was cited for driving after revocation and driving with expired vehicle registration.

4:58 p.m. Officers responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of 4th St. and Ashland St. After investigating, Robert Melson, 73 of Hastings was cited for failure to yield to a vehicle.

5:41 p.m. Officers responded to the police department lobby for a found cellphone.

February 16

11:08 a.m.

Officers responded to a driving complaint at the 1400 block of Vermillion St.

12:58 p.m. Officers responded to a report of financial transaction card fraud at the 1500 block of Vermillion St. An unknown suspect reportedly withdrew $60.00 from a victim’s account. No further information on the suspect was

available. 5:17 p.m.

February 17

1:58 a.m.

Officers were requested by the Rosemount Police Department to assist on a traffic stop located near the intersection of Chippendale Ave. and 170th St. Officers utilized their K9 for a sniff.

7:39 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of 16th St. and Vermillion St. Timothy J. Zeien, 43 of Hastings was cited for driving with expired registration.

7:49 a.m.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at General Sieben Dr. and Hwy. 55. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

8:35 a.m. Officers responded to a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 4th St. W. and Genearl Sieben Dr. Audriauna S. Robbins, 25 of Columbia Heights was cited for failing to stop for a collision.

11:06 a.m. Officers took a suspicious circumstances report in the 700 block of 15th St. W.

11:31 a.m. Officers responded to an identity theft report at the police department lobby. Unknown suspect reportedly applied for unemployment benefits under the victim’s name and got approximately $702.00. There was no suspect information at the time.

10:04 p.m. Officers responded to a possible disturbance in the 1700 block of S. Frontage Rd.

10:26 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of Ramsey St. for a theft report. There were no known suspects at the time.

February 18

8:26 a.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 21st St. E. for a report of theft.

8:39 a.m.

A fraud investigation was started in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for multiple stores.

10:35 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of 21st St. E. for a report of theft.

12:31 p.m. An officer responded near the intersection of Ramsey St. and 2nd St. for an accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

4:34 p.m. Officers took a report of theft-by-swindle that occurred in the 3500 block of Douglas Dr. The incident is under investigation.

8:03 p.m. A road rage incident was investigated in the area of S. Frontage Rd. near Pleasant Dr. The officer investigated the case but was unable to identify a suspect. The suspect vehicle was unable to be located. The case was moved to inactive.

February 19 2:14 a.m. An individual was observed sleeping in a vehicle in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. During the course of the investigation, the driver Richard Horton, 40 of Hastings was taken into custody for 2nd Degree Driving While Intoxicated.

12:09 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 5th St. W. for a report of vandalism.

12:13 p.m. Officers responded to a rollover vehicle accident that took place at the intersection of 15th St. W. and Vermillion St. Minnesota State Patrol responded and wrote the accident while Hastings Officers assisted with traffic control.

3:34 p.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Lincoln St. for a welfare check.

7:35 p.m. Hastings Police documented a trespass notice served to a Hastings resident near the intersection of 15th St. and Pine St.

7:49 p.m. A welfare check was taken in the 1300 block of Lincoln Ln. The officer located the individual walking around Hastings. The case was documented.

9:46 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the 2900 block of Red Wing Blvd. The driver, Corrine Manning of St. Paul was taken into custody for 3rd Degree Driving While Intoxicated.

February 20 12:51 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and 13th St. W. After investigation, the passenger, Eric A. Hanson 36 of Hastings was arrested for a Polk County Wisconsin Failure to Appear Warrant.

3:40 a.m. A traffic stop was performed on a vehicle in the area of Vermillion St. near 10th St. E. The driver, Bee Vue of St. Paul was issued a citation for driving after revocation. The passenger, Chao Her of St. Paul was taken into custody for 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and a misdemeanor warrant.

6:54 a.m. Officers were dispatched to Glendale Rd. near Ravenna Trail for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

2:17 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of 8th St. E. to investigate a reported disturbance involving a package delivery driver and a recipient package. A report was requested per company request.

10:16 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 316 and Michael Ave. After investigation the driver, Juan C. Melvidin- Nunez, 26 of Red Wing was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
