HASTINGS Police Report

March 7 4:16 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 600 block of 10th St. E. The driver, Terrell D. Moffett, 45 of St. Paul was issued a citation for misdemeanor driving after revocation and possession of more than 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

6:56 a.m. Officers responded to the 3500 block of Cannon St. for an after the fact burglary report.

7:42 a.m.

Officers were sent to take an after the fact damage to property report in the 200 block of 11th St. W. A window was broken at a business. There were no suspects at the time.

11:11 a.m. Officers responded to the 3100 block of Vermillion St. on an after the fact theft report.

1:11 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of 25th St. and Cannon St. Dylan J. Garcia, 29 of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation.

2:26 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Mandie P. Shonk, 34 of St. Paul was arrested for intent to escape motor vehicle tax.

4:54 p.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Voyageur Parkway on a trespassing incident. Oren P. Horton, 26 of no particular address was arrested on a body only Washington County warrant for 2nd and 3rd Degree Drug charges.

7:33 p.m. An officer responded to the 800 block of 18th St. W. for an unauthorized use of a vehicle report. The officer investigated the case and provided resources. The case was documented.

8:20 p.m. Officers took a missing person’s report in the 900 block of Cty. Rd. 47. The case is under investigation.

10:48 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of 2nd St. E. and Vermillion St. The driver, Ronda Seiner, 35 of White Bear Lake was taken into custody for 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a stop sign.

March 8 1:46 a.m.

Officers observed a vehicle with an active Keep Our Police Safe (KOPS) alert on it near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and 18th St. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle and it fled from the traffic stop. The incident is under investigation.

1:40 p.m. Officers conducted alcohol compliance check in the City of Hastings.

1:40 p.m. Officers conducted alcohol and tobacco compliance checks for the City of Hastings.

3:46 p.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 33rd St. W. for a tobacco compliance check. Morgan P. Lands, 26 of Hastings was cited for petty misdemeanor selling tobacco to someone under the age of 21.

4:15 p.m. Officers responded to an after the fact damage to prop- erty call in the 1400 block of Ramsey St. There were no suspects at the time.

4:32 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 12000 block of Point Douglas Dr. Pedro C. Jumping Eagle, 47 of Prescott, WI was arrested for an active Washington County warrant.

11:52 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. After investigation, David J. Fuchs, 73 of Hastings was arrested for DWI.

March 9 1:45 a.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Sibley St. near 11th St. The driver, Mynphy Dorbor, 28 of Woodbury was cited for driving after revocation.

2:32 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated in the area of Vermillion St. near 10th St. E. The driver, Chelsea Hedstrom, 29 of Blaine was cited for driving after suspension.

8:35 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. for an intruder alarm.

1:17 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 15th St. and Pine St. for a traffic violation. After investigation, a juvenile male was cited for exhibition driving.

2:33 p.m. A traffic stop was performed in the 1200 block of 18th St. E. Jett H. Allison, 21 of St. Paul was arrested for driving after revocation, expired registration and no proof of insurance.

3:26 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of 11th St. W. on a suspicion call. After investigation, it was determined the ATV in question was a stolen vehicle.

4:10 p.m. A suspicious act was investigated in Maddison Ct. 4:38 p.m.

Officers responded to the City of Burnsville to assist with a potential threat in the 600 block of Hwy. 13. 8:20 p.m.

Officers took a report regarding theft of motor vehicle tabs which were taken off the front and back license plate. It is unknown when or where the tabs were taken. There were no suspects at the time.

March 10 4:09 a.m.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion St. for a burglary report. Officers arrived on scene and observed forced entry into the business. The case is under investigation.

7:29 a.m. Officers responded to an after the fact burglary report in the 1300 block of Vermillion St. The incident is under investigation.

1:40 p.m. Officers investigated potential check forgery that originated in the 500 block of Tiffany Dr. The incident is under investigation.

2:41 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious circumstances report in the 600 block of 5th St. E.

8:31 p.m. Officers responded to a theft report in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. There was no suspect information at the time, and the case is inactive.

11:15 p.m. Officers located Cohlee M. Welke, 31 of Lakeville near the intersection of 5th St. and Sibley St. Welke was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

March 11 9:35 a.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. regarding a report of drug activity. One juvenile female was charged with felony 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. 1:27 p.m.

A report was taken involving a debit card that had been left at a gas station which resulted in it being used at least once by somebody else.

1:49 p.m. Officers investigated a theft in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. After investigating, Daisy Chavez, 35 of Hastings was cited for shoplifting.

March 12 2:13 a.m.

Officers responded to an assault near the intersection of River St. and 4th St. W. After investigation, officers determined there to be no suspects at this time.

10:13 a.m. A found property call was received in the 300 block of 33rd St. The property was returned to its’ owner.

4:48 p.m. Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies had a vehicle free from them which ultimately came into Hastings. The vehicle was left unoccupied, and a perimeter was created. Ultimately, an officer located the suspect male walking through the area not far from the vehicle. The male was arrested by Dakota County Sheriff’s Deputies.

9:45 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Hwy. 316 and Maher Ave. for a speed violation. After investigation, Lisa A. Olson, 53 of Hastings was arrested for gross misdemeanor DWI.

March 13 5:05 p.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 33rd St. on a report of a theft in progress. After investigating the incident, Timothy Lynn, 64 of Hastings was cited for shoplifting.

5:23 p.m. A parent reported that their juvenile daughter had run away from home. The child was located by the parent a short time later.
