An officer responded to a vehicle accident near the intersection of 16th St. E. and Vermillion St. After investigating, Jeffrey M. Smith, 55 of St. Paul, was cited for Driving After Revocation and Failure to Yield on a Left Turn.

10:42 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 2nd St. W. to check the welfare of an individual who appeared to have been sleeping in the driver’s seat of a parked, running vehicle. After investigating, Holly A. Johnson, 36 of Mora, MN, was arrested for Gross Misdemeanor 3rd Degree DUI, Misdemeanor False Information to a Police Officer and Misdemeanor Open Bottle Violation. She was transported to the Dakota County Jail without incident.

2:10 p.m.

Officers were notified of an identity theft incident.

2:57 p.m.

Officers were sent to the 1300 block of Ramsey St. for a theft of mail report. Officers cited two juveniles with theft.

7:51 p.m.

An officer made a traffic stop near the intersection of Lyn Way and S. Frontage Rd. Elizabeth A. Winkelmann, 27 of Hastings, was cited for Expired Registration.

9:18 p.m.

Officers were requested by South St. Paul PD to assist on a traffic stop. Hastings Officers utilized a K9 for a vehicle sniff.

June 23 12:21 a.m.

Officers responded to an assault call near the 500 block of Westview Dr. The incident is under investigation.

3:38 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Tyler St. regarding a disturbance. Officers investigated the call and cited William H. Mellingen, 35 of Hastings, for Disorderly Conduct. 4:11 a.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 4th St. E. regarding a paper service.

8:28 a.m.

Officers were sent to the 1000 block of 14th St. W. for a lost property report. Officers assisted and were able to locate the property. 9:09 a.m.

Officers were sent to the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. for a theft in progress. Officers located and cited Abdurrashid Abdusshahid, 49 of Minneapolis, for theft. He was released with a citation.

11:15 a.m.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of N. Frontage Rd. for an accident report. Officers filed a report.

2:37 p.m.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Three Rivers Dr. for a theft report. Under investigation.

5:16 p.m.

Officers responded to the 500 block of 6th St. W. on a past action fraud case.

9:29 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Red Wing Blvd. and Tiffany Dr. for an equipment violation. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Peter J. Wise, 41 of Spring Park, was cited for Driving After Suspension.

10:09 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a Harassment Restraining Order Violation. After investigations, Nowa M. Hartman-Booth, 19 of Prescott, was arrested for Misdemeanor Harassment Restraining Order Violation and Misdemeanor Driving After Revocation.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 33rd St. regarding a theft. Under investigation.

June 24 11:27 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 11th St. W. on a damage to property report. After investigation, the damage was found to be old.

1:00 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Frontage Rd. N. regarding a theft. A juvenile was issued a citation for Misdemeanor – Theft.

4:17 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a theft report. Officers cited a juvenile for theft.

4:41 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1100 block of Vermillion St. on a report of an unruly male party in a store. The male was ultimately taken to Regions Hospital by HFD.

6:52 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 6th St. E. and Vermillion St. After investigations, Gregory Cauthen, 57 of Red Wing, was issued a citation for Misdemeanor Driving After Suspension.

8:56 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. regarding a driving complaint. Officers investigated the call and arrested Bradley R. Schmierer, 67 of Scottsdale, AZ, for DWI.

9:28 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 9th St. W. Lee A. Foster, 29 of Red Wing, was cited for Driving After Revocation.

9:51 p.m.

Officers responded to a harassment complaint in the 1300 block of 4th St.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 10th St. W. and Pine St. Brian D. O’Neal, 24 of Hastings, was cited for Driving After Suspension and Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance.

June 25 1:23 a.m.

A suspicious circumstance was located in the 800 block of Bahls Dr. This matter is under investigation.

2:19 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted north of Spiral View Loop on Hwy. 61. Nathan A. McMaster, 38 of St. Paul, was cited for Driving After Revocation.

6:09 a.m.

Officers assisted Dakota County Deputies with an investigation that originated in the 20000 block of Otero Ave.

8:05 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 10th St. E. on a report of found property. The property was taken and placed into evidence to be destroyed.

11:27 a.m.

Officers assisted Dakota County Sheriff’s Office regarding a stolen ATV. Officers assisted as needed.

7:33 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Spiral Blvd. and Voyageur Pkwy. After investigations, Thomas J. Isaac, 43 of Hastings, was issued a citation for Misdemeanor Driving After Revocation.

10:32 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Maple St. and 15th St. W. Jeffrey A. Lane, 32 of International Falls, was cited for Driving a Motorcycle W/O a Motorcycle Endorsement. June 26 9:42 a.m.

A warrant arrest was executed in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. The subject was released per Hennepin County and issued a new court date.

12:26 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. regarding a robbery and theft of motor vehicle. Officers located the motor vehicle and it had crashed. The driver and lone occupant then took off, fled on foot and was eventually taken into custody. Jama H. Dualle, 18 of Minneapolis, was arrested and booked into Dakota County Jail for Felony Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing a Police Officer, Contempt of Court, Reckless Driving and Tampering w/ a Motor Vehicle.

1:31 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 12th St. W. regarding an animal bite. Officers spoke with the victim and owner of the animal. The case remains under investigation. 4:01 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated in the 300 block of 4th St. E. that resulted in Crystal C. Swanson, 26 of Red Wing, being given a citation for Driving After Revocation.

4:02 p.m.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Nininger Rd. for a call regarding financial exploitation. After investigation, it was determined no crime had occurred. 5:57 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of County Rd. 47 and Vermillion St. for a motor vehicle accident. Officers investigated the accident and referred the case to State Patrol.

6:54 p.m.

Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of County Rd. 47 and Oak St. Officers assisted State Patrol as they investigated the accident.

8:55 p.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1100 block of Vista Dr. After investigating, Joseph H. Hoppe, 38 of Hastings, was arrested for 1st Degree DUI, 3rd Degree Test Refusal, Ignition Interlock Violation and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

9:25 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted on Hwy. 52 near Wentworth Ave. The driver of the vehicle, Apolinar M. Flores, 22 of Cottage Grove, was cited for speeding and Driving W/O a Valid License. 11:05 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Concord St. and Wentworth Ave. in South St. Paul. After investigation, Jason J. Loera, 18 of Lakeville, was cited for Driving W/O a License.

11:25 p.m.

Officers responded to a suspicious person in the 1900 block of Oak St. After investigation, one juvenile was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI, Underage Consumption and Underage Possession of a Nicotine Device.

June 27 8:51 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Teal Way regarding a theft of motor vehicle tabs. An unknown person removed tabs from two license plates. 6:33 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Tyler St. for an intoxicated individual. Officers arrived and mediated the situation.

June 28 12:05 a.m.

Officers responded to the 600 block of Greten Ct. for an assault in progress. After investigation, Anna C. Vanhatten, 19 of Hastings, was arrested for Misdemeanor 5th Degree Assault. 3:40 a.m.

Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of 13th St. and Forest St. During the course of the traffic stop, officers learned the driver had a warrant. The driver, Raymond Gruer, 35 of Hastings, was arrested on his warrant. Raymond was also charged with 5th Degree Possession of Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Brass Knuckles, Possession of a Switchblade and Open Alcoholic Container in a Motor Vehicle.

2:00 p.m.

Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 400 block of Eddy St. regarding abandoned vehicles in a parking lot.

2:52 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Pine St. regarding suspicious males. After further investigation, it was determined that one male lived across the street and the other was waiting for a ride. Officers also served one of the males with court paperwork.
