Of_cers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Vermillion

St. regarding a theft. The incident is under investigation.

11:04 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 40 block of 27th St. E. on an

animal abuse allegation.

12:31 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1200 block of Lyn Way on a

hit and run property damage accident. A mailbox was damaged in the crash. There are no suspects at this time.

6:39 p.m.

Of_cers responded to a disturbance in the 2500 block

of Voyageur Parkway. The parties involved were contacted and the situation was mediated.

7:44 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 800 block of 14th St. W. for a

vehicle hit and run report. After investigation, there are no known suspects at this time.

July 21

11:49 a.m.

Of_cers assisted Dakota County Adult Protection with

an investigation in the 1200 block of 18th St. E.

3:35 p.m.

A past action vehicle theft was reported from the 2900 block of Vermillion St. An unknown suspect stole a vehicle worth about $8,000.

4:34 p.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to speak with an individual regarding a theft from motor vehicle in the 700 block of S. Oaks Dr.

7:09 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1500 block of Brittany Rd. for a theft report. Of_cers learned there was an unidenti_ed

juvenile who attempted to steal a bicycle. In the process

the unidenti_ed juvenile left a bicycle at the residence. The

bicycle that was stolen was later recovered. The bicycle that was left at the residence was brought to the Police Department for safekeeping. There are no suspects and this case is inactive.

8:13 p.m.

An of_cer responded to the 500 block of 3rd St. W. for a

damage to property report. There was around $200 in damage caused to the reporting person’s yard. Elias Dinius, 30 of Hastings, was cited for Misdemeanor Damage to Property and Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.

July 22

3:25 a.m.

A traf_c stop was initiated on a vehicle near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. and Glendale Rd. During the course of the traf_c stop, the of_cer learned the driver had a revoked

Driver’s License. Joshua Boland, 24 of St. Paul, was cited

for Driving After Revocation. While of_cers were handling the traf_c stop, a vehicle stopped on scene. The driver of the second vehicle drove away from the scene after of_cers attempted to make contact with the driver. Of_cers initiated a traf_c stop on the vehicle on Ravenna Tr. south of Glendale Rd. The driver of the vehicle, Ashley Gieseke, 32 of St. Paul, was arrested for Driving After Canceled IPS.

7:38 a.m.

Of_cers were advised of an emergency order complaint regarding masks in the 1200 block of Vermillion St. Of_ cers spoke with the violating business and educated them about the operational requirements of the order.

9:51 a.m.

Of_cers were called to the 1100 block of Vermillion St.

for a theft of a license plate.

11:03 a.m.

An of_cer observed a vehicle traveling above the posted

speed limit. Using his radar, the of_cer con_rmed it was

speeding. The vehicle also had expired license plates, and

the registered owner was revoked. Once stopped, the of_ cer determined the driver had a revoked license plate. Deontray D. Porter, 24 of Hastings, was cited with Driving After Revocation.

12:07 p.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to speak with an individual

regarding a theft. An unknown person took a bike from a garage in the area of the 2300 block of Oak St.

1:49 p.m.

Of_cers responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident at

Vermillion St. and 10th St.

2:30 p.m.

Property was found in the 800 block of General Sieben Dr. and returned to the owner.

3:09 p.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 500 block of 3rd St. regarding a mental health call. After further investigation, it was determined Elias D. Dinius, 30 of Hastings, was arrested and booked for Misdemeanor Damage to Property.

11:04 p.m.

Of_cers assisted Dakota County Deputies with an incident in the 10000 block of 160th St. E. July 23

6:09 a.m.

Of_cers assisted the Dakota County Drug Task Force in

the 800 block of 15th St. W.

8:40 a.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Vermillion St. regarding found narcotics. Of_cers arrived and seized

what was suspected to be methamphetamine. It was later destroyed.

1:21 p.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 14th St.

regarding a found dog. The dog owners were later located, and the dog was returned.

7:56 p.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 13th St. Heather L. Rydeen, 38 of Lakeville, was cited for Driving After Suspension.

8:13 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 500 block of Kendall Dr. for a

civil dispute. The matter was mediated and documented for informational purposes only.

July 24

12:07 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 200 block of 17th St. W. for a

check welfare. No action was taken as a result of the call and the matter was documented for informational purposes.

4:24 a.m.

Of_cers responded to a theft from vehicle report in the

1100 block Lyn Way. There are no suspects and the case is inactive.

4:42 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. for a theft/damage to property report. After investigation, of_ cers observed a vehicle with a smashed window and items taken from the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.

10:38 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 200 block of 6th St. E. on a

theft report. It was learned numerous items were taken from a vehicle.

12:47 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1700 block of Market Blvd.

for a theft in progress incident. The suspect left the store

with approximately $500 worth of clothing. Of_cers are

investigating.

7:28 p.m.

An of_cer responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion St.

for found property.

8:46 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 700 block of Tyler St. for a

drunkenness call. July 25

2:28 a.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted near the intersection of

Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. The driver was warned for speeding and provided a new court date for an outstanding warrant.

3:01 a.m.

Of_cers conducted a traf_c stop near the intersection of

10th St. E. and Sibley St. Gabriel Galindo, 52 of Rich_eld, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

3:38 a.m.

Of_cers conducted a traf_c stop in the 200 block of

Ramsey St. Chad D. Stewart, 38 of Hastings, was cited for Instructions Permit Violation.

8:44 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd.

for a motor vehicle accident on private property.

11:49 a.m.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 100 block of 2nd St.

W. Of_cers are investigating.

1:04 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 100 block of 4th St. E. on a

parking complaint. It was reported a white van had been parked in the same spot for an extended period of time. Rochelle R. Christine, 49 of Hastings, was eventually cited for Restricted Days/Hours of Parking.

8:01 p.m.

Of_cers responded for a theft report near the 100 block

of 2nd St. W. There are no suspects.

8:27 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 100 block of Tyler St. for a

damage to property call.

11:42 p.m.

2:35 a.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Vermillion

St. for a drunkenness call. Farra D. Owens, 43 of Hastings, was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

2:42 a.m.

Of_cers were requested by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Of_ce to assist with a burglary located in the 8400 block of

240th St. in New Trier. Hastings Of_cers utilized their K9.

3:04 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1300 block of 22nd St. W. for

a report of damage to property. Approximately $350 was damaged. Incident is under investigation.

4:01 a.m.

Of_cers were sent to the 1100 block of 2nd St. W. for a check welfare. Of_cers provided assistance.

6:27 p.m.

Of_cers responded to the 300 block of Cari Park Lane

regarding a report of suspicious activity.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 500 block of Westview Dr. regarding a traf_c accident. This case is under investigation.
