Hastings Police took a lost property report in the 2400 block of Vermillion St.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 18th St. W. in regard to a damage to property call. An unknown suspect damaged $700 worth of property.

A lost property report was taken in the 100 block of 3rd St. E.

A past-action fraud report was taken from the 3100 block of Cory Lane. An unknown suspect obtained $100 in goods.

A traf_c stop on Hwy. 55 near Ashland St. resulted in David Altman, 31 of Red Wing, being given a citation for Driving After Revocation.

July 29 3:09 a.m.

Of_cers conducted a traf_c stop in the 600 block of 10th St. E. Devin L. Fitzgerald- Sheppard, 23 of South St. Paul, was cited for Driving After Revocation and No Proof of Insurance.

7:27 a.m.

An of_cer was dispatched near the intersection of Cty. Rd. 47 and Eddy St. for a property damage accident. Anna E. Vervair, 19 of Hastings, was cited for Failure to Yield.

12:11 p.m.

Of_cers were directed to the 1700 block of Greystone Dr. to inspect an ordinance violation. An offender will be charged via formal complaint for multiple ordinance violations.

1:57 p.m.

Of_cers responded to a business in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. regarding a theft in progress. After investigation, Samuel Ritt, 27 of Hastings, was cited for Misdemeanor Theft and Driving After Revocation.

Of_cers were called to the 1100 block of Ramsey St. for a harassment report. More information forthcoming. The incident is under investigation.

July 30 6:16 a.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 100 block of 2nd St. E. regarding a theft from motor vehicle. An unknown person or persons removed two license plates from a vehicle.

10:55 a.m.

A harassment call was taken in the 700 block of 6th St. W.

Of_cers noticed a vehicle with expired registration in the 400 block of 2nd St. Of_cers followed up and noticed the vehicle had not been moved in 24 hours. The vehicle was towed for the violation.

2:03 p.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Maple St. regarding a found dog.

July 31 1:10 a.m.

A burglary in progress was reported in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. Suspects forced entry into a business and stole an ATM machine. The matter is under investigation.

6:50 a.m.

Of_cers were dispatched to speak with an individual regarding a theft from the area of Oak St. and 16th St. An unknown person or persons cut the padlock off of a trailer and stole over $6,700 worth of tools.

11:34 p.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted near the intersection of Tuttle Dr. and Shannon Dr. Jodine M. Suchy, 62 of Hastings, was found to be impaired and arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

August 1 12:12 a.m.

Of_cers responded to a vehicle hit and run report in the 900 block of Tyler St. The incident is under investigation.

12:38 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1400 block of Vermillion St. for a robbery in progress. Bobby L. Jones, 33 of Hastings, was arrested for Simple Robbery.

4:39 a.m.

Of_cers responded to a check welfare call in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Christopher R. Peterson, 36 of Hastings, was arrested for 3rd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Felony – Fugitive from Justice related to four warrants for forgery out of Missouri.

9:56 a.m.

A vehicle was towed from the 200 block of Tyler St. for a parking violation.

8:03 p.m.

Of_cers went to the 500 block of McNamara St. in attempt to verify a predatory offender lived there. This case is under investigation.

10:01 p.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted on Tyler St. near 8th St. Of_cers investigated the traf_c stop and cited Paul L. Ricci, 49 of Brooklyn Park, for Driving After Revocation.

10:44 p.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Ashland St. for a speed violation. Trevhon L. Sanders, 22 of Hastings, was cited for Driving After Revocation.

August 2 1:02 a.m.

Of_cers responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion St. regarding a report of a suspicious person. The incident is under investigation.

1:23 a.m.

A call of suspicion was made from the 300 block of 33rd St. W. Jeremy J. Wittrup, 40 of Red Wing, was arrested for a warrant.

1:50 a.m.

A traf_c stop was conducted at the intersection of Vermillion St. and 9th St. Of_cers investigated the traf_c stop and cited Leonel A. Flores-Acquilar, 44 of Burnsville, for Driving After Suspension.

10:28 a.m.

Christopher Peterson, 36 of Hastings, was arrested for drug related charges in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. He was later determined to be a fugitive of justice out of Missouri and had four outstanding felony warrants for forgery.
