August 31st 1:37 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Ravenna Tr. and Glendale Rd. The driver, Rashone Thurman, 33, of Coon Rapids, was arrested for 5th degree possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance, driving after revocation.
6:30 a.m. Officers spoke to an individual who located a purse on the shores of the Mississippi River. The items were taken for safe keeping.
1:55 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of 2nd St. W. Devin Lavelle Sagataw, 28, of Burnsville, was cited for driving after revocation.
4:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Tiffany Dr. regarding fraudulent activity involving checks. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who provided evidence of checks being written by someone with the owner’s checks. The checks were written to and endorsed by the suspect. The suspect, Tyler Kavitz, 18, of Hastings was arrested for forgery.
5:26 p.m. Officers responded to an accident involving a pickup and skateboarder on 21st St. E. A juvenile male was transported to Regina for possible injuries.
6:57 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 Block of 10th St. W. for a dog running around. It is currently under investigation.
7:01 p.m. Officers responded to a found property report in the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. The property was recovered and entered to evidence.
7:07 p.m. Officers responded to the Vermillion Falls Park for a welfare check. Officers were able to mediate the situation and provide resources.
10:18 p.m. Officers responded to a fire call involving a garbage can near Cari Park. There are no suspects and the case is inactive.
11:41 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. And Glendale Rd. After investigation, Tyresha Tyann Lashae Traps, 31, of St. Paul, was cited for driving after revocation.
September 1st 12:55 a.m. Officers checked on a suspicious female located in a vehicle in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. This matter is under investigation.
1:09 a.m. Officers took a vehicle theft report on the 1700 block of Tyler St. This matter is under investigation.
2:24 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Red Wing Blvd and 33rd St. W. After investigation, one adult female will be charged via formal complaint of gross misdemeanor no proof of insurance and driving after cancellation 8:08 a.m. an abandoned bike was found in the 1600 block of Northridge Dr.
12:04 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of 18th St. E. and took a male into custody for the Northfield PD. The male was transported to Hampton where Northfield took custody.
1:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd on a minor traffic accident. Parties exchanged information.
7:02 p.m. Officers received a suspicious circumstance complain in the 1500 block of Tyler St. The incident was documented.
9:23 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th St. E. and Vermillion St. After investigation, one adult male is to be charged via formal complaint for gross misdemeanor no proof of insurance, misdemeanor driving after revocation, driving with expired registration and misuse of stickers.
11:39 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Highway 55 and Maple St. Cheryl Sue Hubing, 60, of Hastings, was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI September 2nd 12:02 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop at Red Wing Blvd and Tuttle Dr. The driver, Tino Lee of St. Paul was citied for limited license violation and no proof of insurance.
1:30 a.m. Officers responded to a medical in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr.
3:56 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Vermillion and 16th St. One adult male is to be charged via formal complaint for driving after cancellation IPS.
11:33 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th St. W. and Eddy St. Megan Ann Nestingen, 23, of Hastings, was cited for driving after suspension and failure to carry proof of insurance.
September 3rd 10:52 a.m. Officer took a two-vehicle crash report from the 1200 block of Vermillion St. 11:52 a.m. Officers were notified of a damage to property and theft incident in the 400 block of Commerce Ct. A report was filed 1:58 p.m. Officers received a report of a stolen vehicle at the 100 block of State St. The case in under investigation.
2:03 p.m. Officers responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Vermillion St and Red Wing Blvd. Officers cited Johnathan David of Matrious, 19, of Hastings, for unsafe equipment.
8:21 p.m. Officers took a report of suspicious circumstances. The incident is under investigation 8:44 p.m. Officers were requested by the Rosemount PD to assist on a traffic stop located at the intersection of Courthouse Blvd and 117th St. E. Hastings officers utilized their K9 unit for a vehicle sniff.
September 4th 1:06 a.m. Officers assisted Dakota County Sheriff’s office on the 1100 block of Nininger Rd regarding a suspicious vehicle.
3:19 a.m. Officers located a suspicious circumstance near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. And 18th St. E. This matter is under investigation.
11:30 a.m. Officers investigated suspicious circumstances on the 400 block of 17th St. W. Property was sent to an address in St. Paul from Hastings which was then given to HPD to return to the owner.
4:41 p.m. Officers were sent to the 500 block of 11th St. W. for a report of someone brandishing a silver handgun. Officers investigated and identified juveniles who were playing with a BB Gun. A juvenile male was cited for disorderly conduct.
5:33 p.m. Officers were dispatched to an incident involving an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers investigated and cited Alex Steven Kramer, 32, of Hastings, for disorderly conduct.
10:10 p.m. Officers responded to a trespassing call at 1752 N. Frontage Rd. Brea Renee Bauer, 42, of Hastings, was cited for trespassing.
10:30 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of 10th St. E. Upon investigation, Kenneth Richard Bauman, 64, of St. Paul, was issued a citation for misdemeanor operating an unregistered vehicle.
11:59 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Mubarak, Mustafa Abdirahman Ali, 26, of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation, failure to carry proof of insurance, and was provided a new court date for an active warrant.
September 5th 2:31 a.m. Officers responded near the intersection of 170th St. E and Knox Path to assist Dakota County with a motorist assist.
2:53 a.m. Officers responded to a driving complaint near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. After investigation, Ali Alberto Farfan, 65, of St. Paul, was arrested for DWI 8:36 a.m. Officers were sent to the 600 block of Greten Ct. for a damage to property report. Homeowners located a golf ball in their residences and located a broken window. A witness saw a group of juveniles in Greten Park on 09-04-2020 around 1:00 p.m. hitting golf balls.
1:22 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1400 block of Vermillion St. for a hit and run accident. Officers investigated and lacked information for charges. Officers exchanged information with the drivers.
4:21 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop for speed on Vermillion St. and 4th St. After investigation, the driver, Ruben Castillo Renteria, 47, of St. Paul, was cited for driving without a driver’s license.
5:54 p.m. Officers took a report of a past action theft in the 800 block of 36th St. W. Approximately $60 in value was taken. There are no suspects currently.
7:38 p.m. Officers responded to a warrant call near the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. Upon arrival, Brent Morrison, 30, of Hastings, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
September 6th 12:16 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Douglas Dr. regarding a medical. Officers used a ram to enter the residence and ensured that everyone was OK.
1:26 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of McNamara Ave regarding a suspicious activity. A male attempted to get in a vehicle. Officers investigated and cited Carl A. Litschke, 47, of Hastings, for tampering with a motor vehicle.
10:56 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the area of Malcolm Ave. and Red Wing Blvd. regarding a two vehicle collision.
12:45 p.m. An Officer made a traffic stop in the area of 5th St. and Vermillion St. after observing a traffic violation. During the stop, the officer learned the occupant of the vehicle had an active probation violation warrant out of Wisconsin. The Driver, Bryce T. Horning, 26, of Hastings, was arrested for the warrant.
12:45 p.m. An officer stopped a motorcycle after they observed the driver operating it. The officer knew the driver did not have a valid drivers license or a motorcycle endorsement. There was also no license plate affixed to the motorcycle. Bryce T. Horning, 26, of Hastings, was subsequently arrested for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving after revocation, operating a motorcycle without an endorsement, no insurance and failing to display registration.
7:28 p.m. Officers received a dog bite report at the 800 block of 10th St. E. Officers mediated the situation.
10:23 p.m. A Hastings officer was dispatched to an accident involving a vehicle vs deer. No injuries reported.

September 5th 1:22 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1400 block of Vermillion St. for a hit and run accident. Officers investigated and lacked information for charges. Officers exchanged information with drivers. September 6th 10:56 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the area of Malcolm Avenue and Red Wing Blvd regarding a two-vehicle collision.
10:23 p.m. A Hastings officer was dispatched to an accident involving a vehicle vs deer. No injuries reported.
September 10th 1:09 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 2nd St. W and Spring St. on a report of a one-vehicle accident. Upon arrival it was learned a vehicle had struck a utility box and the driver had left the scene.
4:30 p.m. Officer responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2nd St. W and Spring St. No injuries reported. Danielle Marie Fremouw, 24, of Northfield, was cited for failure to yield. September 12th 11:37 a.m. Officers were dispatched to 2nd St. E. and Tyler St. on a report of a four-vehicle accident. No injuries and no citations were issued.
