June 20 9:30 a.m.

An assault investigation was started in the 400 block of Vermillion St.

2:13 p.m. Officers responded to the 1600 block of Rivershore Dr. for a lost wallet report.

4:14 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Forest St.

9:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Pine St. for a welfare check. During the course of the investigation, William Standiford of Hastings was taken into custody for a Mille Lacs County warrant.

9:49 p.m. Officers assisted Apple Valley Police Department in taking a male into custody in the 1000 block of Nininger Rd.

June 21 1:15 a.m.

Officers assisted Ramsey County with taking a male into custody on I-35E near Wagon Wheel Trail.

1:02 p.m. Officers responded to the area of C.P. Adams Park in the 800 block of 18th St. E. on a report of a female screaming. The subject was located without injury and assistance was provided.

7:59 p.m. An officer took a theft report near the intersection of Spiral View Loop and Hwy. 61.

9:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 600 block of Westview Dr. for a check the welfare call. After investigation, Mitchell E. Richmond, 27 of Hastings was arrested for a felony Dakota County warrant.

June 22 12:46 p.m.

Officers investigated a report of credit card fraud in the 500 block of McNamara Ave. 1:59 p.m.

Officers were handed a small amount of marijuana found in a nearby park. Officers destroyed the marijuana.

2:42 p.m. Officers were notified of a fraud in the 2300 block of Pine St. A report was filed.

8:50 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a disturbance. The incident is under investigation.

June 23 9:35 a.m.

A report was forwarded to the Hastings PD alleging that funds on an EBT card was being used by somebody other than the cardholder. The case remains under investigation.

11:07 a.m.

A theft of a catalytic converter was reported in the 1300 block of 17th St. W. No suspect information was reported. The approximate loss was $2,000.

2:05 p.m. Officers were notified of a theft incident which took place around June 18th-19th. Officers investigated but did not locate evidence to charge anyone with a crime.

7:00 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. for a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the reporting party who stated they wanted the incidence documented.

June 24 12:49 a.m.

Officers responded to the 3100 block of Cory Lane for a damage to property report. There were no known suspects at the time.

1:07 p.m. Officers filed an identity theft report. The investigation is inactive.

1:28 p.m.

Officers took a report of check fraud that occurred in the 700 block of 4th St. W. The victim reported being scammed out of $3,100.

2:34 p.m. Officers investigated a suspicious act in the 200 block of 4th St. E.

2:52 p.m. Officers arrested Chad R. Sleeper, 41 of Hastings in the 300 block of Tyler St. for warrants for his arrest.

6:12 p.m. Officers responded to the 2000 block of Vermillion St. for a male that was possibly intoxicated and stumbling on the sidewalk. After investigation, officers arrested Michael K. Dullinger, 30 of Hastings for three active warrants.

6:23 p.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Yellowstone Dr. regarding damage to property. An individual’s vehicle was keyed by an unknown suspect. There was approximately $400 in damage sustained. No suspects were known.

8:35 p.m. Officers responded to a drunkenness complaint in the 200 block of 3rd St. E. One adult male was transported back to his residence.

June 25 3:55 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to Meggan Dr. regarding a theft. The case is under investigation.

11:29 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Market Blvd. regarding a theft in progress. Three individuals had taken items from a business without paying for them. Officers are working with the business to obtain video footage to develop suspect information. The case is under investigation.

June 26 5:19 a.m.

Officers and the Hastings Fire Department responded to a fire near the intersection of 31st St. W. and Cannon St. The fire was extinguished by the fire department and the incident was documented by officers on scene.

10:56 a.m. Police assisted Dakota County Sheriff’s Office with a juvenile issue on 160th St. near General Sieben Dr.

Accident Reports June 25 7:29 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of 14th St. W. and Pine St. regarding an accident without injuries.

June 26 5:47 a.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Westview Dr. for an accident involving one vehicle. A citation was issued to the driver Carter T. Kruse, 19 of Cottage Grove for reckless driving. No injuries were reported.

June 28 12:51 p.m.

A hit-and-run crash was investigated in the 1100 block of 36th St. W.

4:30 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 36th St. W. and Century Dr. for a vehicle versus bicyclist crash.

July 2 2:59 a.m.

A one-vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of Cty. Rd. 47 and 31st St. W.

9:24 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 4th St. and Maple St. for an accident without injuries. Lori E. Goetz, 64 of Hastings was cited for failure to keep to the right.
