August 8
•Officers located Toubee Khang, 37 of St. Paul near the 1400 block of Vermillion St. Khang was arrested for an active warrant at 3:14 a.m.
•Found property was located near the southeast side of Lake Rebecca at 3:32 p.m. The property was collected for safekeeping.
•At 9:33 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and 18th St. Richard J. Martin, 59 of Inver Grove was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
•Officers responded to the Jaycee Park in the 400 block of Lock and Dam Rd. for a past-action theft report at 9:41 p.m.
•At 11:45 p.m., officers assisted another agency on a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 18th St. E.
August 9
•A traffic stop was initiated at 12:47 a.m. in the 600 block of 10th St. E. After investigation, Alfredo Caballero, 32 of Welch was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Goodhue County warrant for drug possession.
•At 4:15 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 6th St. After investigation the driver, Steven Banks, 60 of Prescott was issued a citation for driving after revocation and failure to display current motor vehicle registration.
•At 2:00 p.m., Hastings Police followed up on an ordinance violation and littering complaint near Lake Rebecca in the 400 block of Lock and Dam Rd. Troy Cann of Hastings was cited for refusing to obey the order of a city official and unlawful deposit of garbage.
August 10
•Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 2200 block of Forest St. at 3:13 p.m. Jeffrey L. Hollan, 61 of Hastings was cited for having expired vehicle registration.
•Vandalism was reported in the 1500 block of Stonegate Rd. at 11:59 p.m. An unknown individual damaged a structure.
August 11
•A theft of vehicle license plate report was filed at 8:05 a.m. in the 2200 block of Cannon St.
•At 6:35 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. for a pastaction medical call of an individual who had been shot with an airsoft gun earlier in the day.
•A theft of catalytic converter was reported at 7:48 p.m. in the 1500 block of 14th St. W. There were no suspects at the time.
August 12
•Officers responded to a vehicle tab theft in the 300 block of Whispering Lane at 10:02 a.m.
•Warrant service was attempted in the 800 block of Bailey St. Ellana S. LaMoreux, 32 of Hastings was arrested for an active Dakota County warrant at 2:59 p.m.
August 13
•Officers responded to the 300 block of 33rd St. at 3:12 a.m. for a fight. Damian Arellano, 30 of Minneapolis and Tristan Layton, 36 of Minneapolis were both arrested for disorderly conduct.
•At 8:03 p.m., officers located Sherlin J. Meyers, 45 of Hastings in the 300 block of 2nd St. E. Myers had an active felony warrant for his arrest. When officers informed Myers of his arrest, he fled on foot. After a short foot chase, Myers was taken into custody. He was booked at Dakota County Jail for felony warrant – failing to register as a predatory offender and cited for misdemeanor flee on foot.
August 14
•Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 15th St. and Maple St. at 2:33 a.m. One juvenile was cited for a curfew violation.
•Officers conducted a traffic stop at 5:42 a.m. near the intersection of 17th St. and Ashland St. After investigation the driver, Tyson A. Sheplee, 18 of St. Paul Park was arrested for reckless driving, underage drinking and driving, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of alcohol by person under 21, possession of 1.4 grams of marijuana in a motor vehicle and fleeing a peace officer on foot.
•A theft report was taken from the 500 block of Westview Dr. at 10:18 a.m.
Accident Reports August 12
•A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:55 a.m. on the Hastings Bridge. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.
•A two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and S. Frontage Rd. at 5:03 p.m.
August 14
•Officers responded to the intersection of 10th St. W. and Vermillion St. at 10:29 a.m. for a report of a minor accident.
•A traffic collision was reported at 6:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Sieben Crest Ln. No injuries were reported, and no citations issued.
August 18
•At 6:42 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash in the 200 block of 33rd St. W.
