September 5
•At 1:51 p.m., officers responded to the area of Hwy. 55 and General Sieben Dr. on a possible gun pointing incident. After investigation, probable cause was found to arrest Robert M. DeGarcia, 40 of South St. Paul for 2nd Degree Assault.
•Officers responded to the 1000 block of Ramsey St. at 3:05 p.m. for a report of a past-action damage to property incident. An unknown suspect caused about $400 in damage.
•At 6:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Whispering Lane regarding harassment. Officers investigated the call and documented their finds.
•At 6:23 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of threats in the 300 block of 8th St. E. The incident was mediated and documented by officers on scene.
•Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Nininger Rd. and 2nd St. After investigation, Michael J. Dube, 30 of Hastings was found to be impaired and was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI.
•At 10:46 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Vermillion St. and Hwy. 55 regarding damaged property. The case is under investigation.
September 6
•At 8:33 a.m., a suspicious act was investigated in the 200 block of 15th St. E.
•A theft report was received at 8:52 a.m. in the 300 block of 3rd St. W.
•At 11:17 a.m., a damage to property report was received in the 600 block of 10th St. E.
•The theft of two catalytic converters was reported at 12:36 p.m. in the 3100 block of Vermillion St.
•At 1:16 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Hwy. 55.
September 7
•Officers received an after-the-fact report from the 1100 block of Sherman Way. There were no suspects at the time.
•Officers responded to the 1000 block of 11th St. W. regarding suspicious circumstances at 11:15 a.m.
•At 2:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to found drug paraphernalia near the intersection of Southview Dr. and Westview Dr. The item was brought to the PD to be destroyed.
•At 6:14 p.m., officers assisted a deputy with the Dakota County Sherriff’s Office who requested assistance during a traffic stop. The motorist was ultimately cited by the deputy for speed.
September 8
•At 11:13 a.m., officers were dispatched to a theft in progress at a business in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. As the suspect left the scene in a vehicle, officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The suspect was identified as Carly J. Willard, 30 of Hastings and she was cited for misdemeanor theft. All stolen items were returned to the business.
•A male with a warrant was observed near the 400 block of 4th St. W. Justin M. Bowers, 33 of Hastings was taken into custody for a felony warrant at 7:51 p.m.
September 9
•Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th St. E. and Progress Dr. at 2:14 a.m. John E. Stein, 60 of River Falls was arrested for drug paraphernalia, fleeing on foot, false info to a police officer, driving after revocation and several warrants.
•At 9:43 a.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Voyageur Parkway for a report of damage to property.
•At 1:07 p.m., officers were dispatched to a weapons call near the 1700 block of Market Blvd. Officers located the juvenile male who was involved and determined he had a bb gun. No charges or citations were issued.
•A trespassing issue was reported at 1:19 p.m. in the 1600 block of Vermillion St.
•At 8:45 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 3rd St. E.
•Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. at 10:48 p.m. During the course of the investigation, a 16-year-old male was taken into custody for 2nd Degree Assault, terroristic threats and possession of a bb gun in public.
September 10
•Officers stopped out with a vehicle near the 1300 block of 18th St. Thomas N. Tryon, 38 of Hastings was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
•At 3:22 a.m., a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the 900 block of Vermillion St. The driver did not stop and fled from the traffic stop. The incident is under investigation.
•At 9:38 a.m., a special event parking violation was reported on Sibley St.
•Alicia J. Bowers, 37 of Hastings and Jason M. Brill, 50 of Hastings were arrested in the 400 block of 4th St. W. for active warrants at 11:30 a.m.
•At 3:25 p.m., officers responded to a trespassing complaint in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. Darrel H. Sistad, 47 of Hastings was cited for trespassing.
•Officers responded to the 900 block of Bailey St. for a car crash at 6:53 p.m. After investigation, Brittany D. Leahy, 37 of Hastings was arrested for gross misdemeanor DWI and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle.
•At 10:34 p.m., officers responded to a past-action theft from the 300 block of 1st St. E. An unknown person stole about $300 in property.
September 11
•Officers responded to a drug complaint at 10:43 a.m. at the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and 22nd St. A container of suspected marijuana was collected and entered into evidence to be destroyed.
•At 1:17 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Rd. for a motor vehicle accident. Branch R. Fjellanger, 25 of Roseville for DWI.
•At 7:49 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Tuttle Dr. for a road and driving complaint. After investigation, Ronald A. Kavitz Jr., 54 of Hastings was cited for disorderly conduct.

•Officers responded to the 2400 block of River Shore Circle at 2:27 p.m. for a reported two-vehicle accident.
September 13
•An officer was dispatched to a two-vehicle crash in the 300 block of 2nd St. E. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.
September 14
•A crash was reported at the 1300 block of Vermillion St. The crash occurred at 4:49 p.m., but on-duty officers were unable to respond. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.
September 15
•Officers responded to the 1400 block of 4th St. E. on a report of an accident without injury at 1:14 p.m. No citations were issued.
September 16
•Officers responded to a traffic accident at the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. E. Michael N. Mitchell, 18 of Hastings was cited for failure to stop at a traffic control signal at 9:58 p.m.
September 17
•Officers responded to a hit-and-run in the 600 block of 7th St. W. at 7:34 a.m.
•A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. at 1:53 p.m.
September 18
• A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 4th St. W. and Spring St. at 12:17 p.m.
