Hastings MEGA Storage Garages proudly announces the groundbreaking of its newest 100,000 square ft facility located at 2489 Spiral Boulevard in Hastings on Thursday June 27, 2024. Hastings Chamber of Commerce and other community and civic leaders were on hand to commemorate the event. The site, located at the corner of Glendale Avenue and Spiral Boulevard has been the source of much speculation for weeks as residents wondered what was occurring at the large 10 acre site as earthmovers and backhoes worked feverishly excavating the site.
MEGA Storage Garages are heated and unheated large, private storage units offering electricity, top notch security, large overhead doors, wide 60' driveways and secured gate entry. It is the only facility of its type in the Twin Cities Metro and among the largest in the Midwest. When the site is fully constructed, it will offer the equivalent to almost eight football fields of large private storage garage units. MEGA Storage Garages is a new concept brought to Hastings by Clifton, WI developer Chad Smurawa who recently constructed 2 other “Class A” self-storage facilities in the St. Croix River Valley.
