Hastings High School Choir holds first concert of the year

The Sophomore SSA Choir performed “Ubi Caritas” by Michael John Trotta and Bring me my Shadow by Matthew Erpelding.

Bel Canto performed “Down to the River” to Pray arranged by Jace Wittig with soloists Lily Doffing, Ellie Storkamp, and Lainey VanHavermaet. They followed that up with Refuge by Elaine Hagenberg and Stand Up arranged by Tea Douglas with soloists Gillian Greeder, Ava Mahoney and Mariam Ben Said.

The TTB Choir (Tenor, Tenor, Bass) performed “The Dawn’s Awake!” by Laura Farnell and Baraka Na Wewe arranged by Victor C. Johnson.

Concert Choir performed “Exhilaration is the Breeze” by Neil Ginsberg and Let me Ride (Swing Down Chariot) arranged by Roger Emerson..

Select Chorale performed “The Innocence” by Craig Hella Johnson. Accompanist was Meg Rein, soloists were Adam Duer, Larry Williams, Emma McLay, Talyah Breazeale, Brady Teegarden and Rhianna Shick. They also performed Wild Forces by Jake Runestad, Bend by Kyle Pederson and Water Fountain by Tune Yards arranged by Kristopher Fulton with Meg Rein on percussion.
