Hastings Family Service is grateful to the local community for its incredible support during the Open Your Heart July Summer Challenge. Just over $110,000 was raised to receive a proportionate match from Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless, setting a record for this annual fundraiser. HFS Executive Director Amy Sutton indicates, “This generosity speaks to the heart of this community. So many have stepped up to help neighbors at a time when their own budgets are being impacted by higher costs of living. HFS is fortunate to be part of a supportive community that comes together to care for one another, time and time again, to provide access to help and hope.”
