The Raiders season has been a season of close ones. The boys have won six of their last ten games. In that run, the largest margin of victory was seven points, back on February 16th against Hill Murray. Since then, every game has been decided by five points or less. Against the North St. Paul, the Raiders took the final game of the regular season to overtime.

Unfortunately, full details of the game were not available by press time due to online reporting issues and The Journal was not able to attend the game in person. The Raiders trailed at the half 37-36 with both teams executing well on both ends of the court. The second half saw a decline in scoring, but the Raiders were able to tie the game at 64. Overtime for the Raiders this season has been a 50/50 thing, sadly, this visit to an extra period did not go the way of Hastings. The Polars won 72-67.

Over the weekend, Hastings was awarded the sixth seed in sections and will travel to Rosemount on Wednesday night for an 8:00 tip against the fifth seeded Irish.
