Who does not miss going to the movies? The big screen, the big thumps of sound, the giant pop cups and of course POPCORN!!! Sure, you can make popcorn at home, but is it the same? The closest thing to movie theater popcorn is the popcorn you can get at Hastings Hawks and other baseball at Veteran’s Park during the summer. They might claim their popcorn is better, that is a decision you’ll have to make in 2021. For now, you can get delicious movie theater popcorn this weekend!
Marcus Theaters in Hastings is opening on Saturday, December 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to deliver movie theater popcorn right to your car. It looks as if it is going to be nice and easy to order, too. Simply use your Marcus Theaters app to order or order online from your computer. You will prepay for the order, pull up and a Marcus Theater employee will bring it out to you! Here is the menu.
Party Popcorn, equal to four large popcorns – $20 Family Popcorn, equal to two large popcorns – $10 32-ounce ICEE – $6.50 With this being their first time doing this type of event, each popcorn purchase will include a free candy!
You can find links to both the mobile app and the ordering page at: https://www.marcustheatres. com/marcus-specials/food-beverage/ curbside-popcorn-at-hastings-cinemma or do a quick google search for “Marcus Theater Hastings” and the page should pop right up.
Do not forget, you can also order gift cards to use when theaters open back up.
Get out, show support for another struggling business in Hastings. Remember folks, we don’t want to lose any of our businesses. If you think you won’t miss them, think back to having a bowling alley in town, or more recently, a Target. How does that song go? “You don’t know what you’ve got…. Til it’s gooooonnneeee…” –
