Friday November 27th 8:00 a.m. – Noon Bird banding Carpenter St. Croix Nature Center Have you ever wondered what bird banding is all about?

Bird Banding records can help us learn how long birds live, where they travel, when and where they migrate and many other interesting facts. Carpenter Nature Center has been banding birds for over 30 years. On the fourth Friday of the month bird banding is open to the public. There is no program fee, but donations of Bird Seed and Suet are greatly appreciated. RSVP appreciated. Saturday November 28th All day Small Business Saturday. Hastings on Saturday December 5, for our Living Nativity as we re-enact Christ’s birth. Free outdoor performances will be held on a continuous basis every 20 minutes beginning at 5:00 p.m. The last performance will be at 6:40 pm.

Live cast and real animals including donkey, sheep and camel are part of the performance. We are taking precautions to assure a COVID-safe environment so all attending can enjoy a safe and enjoyable performance. Tuesday, December 8th 5p.m. – 8p.m.
