National Fire Prevention week brings about the annual open house at Hastings Fire Department. Hundreds of area residents descend on the fire department for interactive and informative demonstrations, treats, educational materials and the opportunity to get to know members of the Hastings Fire Department, Hastings Police Department and the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.
