Join us for an impactful event will be held Saturday Aug. 14 as the community unites to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and support those affected by its devastating consequences.
The Fentanyl Awareness – Ride for Life will start at The Hastings Tavern, 111 3rd St. E. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with “kickstands up” at 11 a.m.
Event Highlights:
Motorcycle Ride: Ride alongside fellow bikers on a mission to spread awareness of the fentanyl crisis that has impacted families across our communities while also helping promote a safer community. We want to thank Hastings Tavern, Corner Bar & Grille, Buck Wild Bar & Grill, B-Wells Bar & Grill, the American Legion Post 9, and Tony’s Saloon for their support. Registration is $20 for riders and $10 for passengers. Registration begins at the Hastings Tavern prior to the start of the ride at 10:30 am. Kickstands up at 11:00 am.
Silent Auction: At the end of the ride, stop by Hastings Tavern and bid on the silent auction.
Food: Savor the flavors of Raspberry Smokers with mouthwatering options to refuel your soul.
Guest Speakers: Hear from inspiring, advocates Amy Neville (Alexander Neville Foundation), Bridgette Norring (Devin J. Norring Foundation), Julie Baumgard, and fellow recovery experts Steven Bickell, and Paul Bierch (Will Work For Recovery) who are committed to combating the fentanyl crisis. Guest speakers will speak at 5 p.m. on the north lawn of Hastings City Hall (directly across from the Hastings Tavern).
Live Music: Enjoy a performance by Thomas Estrem that will set the tone for a day of unity and action.
