Notice of Filing for Township Elections:
Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Douglas Township, Dakota County, Minnesota that filing for township office will be held for a two week period beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Affidavits of Candidacy shall be filed with the Town Clerk Tuesday January 2, 2024 to Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Filing will close at 5:00 PM on January 16, 2024.
The town hall will be open the last day of filing from the hours of 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Private appointments to file can also be made by calling the clerk at phone number listed below.
Applications will be accepted for the Offices of:
One Supervisor for a 3 year term
One Treasurer for a 2 year term
There is a $2.00 filing fee.
