Notice of Public Accuracy Test (PAT)
Notice is hereby given that the public test of the tabulating equipment and electronic ballot marking device will be conducted in the Dakota County Elections Office, Suite 2300, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings for the March 12, 2024 Township Election at the following times:
Equipment for the following townships in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, March 8th at 9:00 am: Castle Rock, Douglas, Greenvale, and Vermillion.
Equipment for the following townships in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, March 8th at 11:00 am: Nininger, Marshan, Eureka, and Randolph.
Equipment for the following townships in Dakota County will be tested on Friday, March 8th at 1:30 pm: Hampton, Waterford, and Sciota.
The PAT is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The voting system will be tested to ascertain that the system will correctly mark ballots and count the votes cast for all candidates. Persons interested in attending these public tests should call Michelle Blue at (651) 438-4314 for more information.
