Notice of Public Accuracy Test (PAT)

Notice is hereby given that the public test of the tabulating equipment and electronic ballot marking device will be conducted in the Dakota County Elections Office, Suite 2300, 1590 Highway 55, Hastings for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Nomination Primary at the following times:

Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Tuesday, February 27th at 1:00 pm: Castle Rock, Douglas, and Empire.

Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, February 28th at 10:00 am: Greenvale, Hampton City, Lilydale, and Sunfish Lake.

Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Wednesday, February 28th at 1:00 pm: Nininger, Marshan, Randolph City, and Vermillion City.

Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, February 29th at 10:00 am: Waterford, Eureka, Sciota, and Hampton Township.

Equipment for the following municipalities in Dakota County will be tested on Thursday, February 29th at 1:00 pm: Randolph Township, Vermillion Township, Mendota City, and Ravenna.

The PAT is open to anyone who wishes to attend. The voting system will be tested to ascertain that the system will correctly mark ballots and count the votes cast for all candidates.
