The following criminal complaint was filed last week in Dakota County Court:

Christian Ronald Glasby, 21, was charged with 5th degree possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and gross misdemeanor 3rd degree criminal damage to property (public safety vehicle). Officers received a report Oct. 25 that Glasby was possibly intoxicated and in possession of a damaged U-Haul van past its due date and was likely at Walmart. Officers found the van in the parking lot and located Glasby in the store. Surveillance footage showed him allegedly concealing merchandise in an unpurchased black bag. Officers approached him, and Glasby reportedly tried to pull away from the officer as he was being searched. He was placed under arrest and was in possession of a baggie containing 0.74 grams that tested as methamphetamine. In the squad car, Glasby allegedly slipped his cuffed hands over his legs and kicked the inside of the car door, damaging a panel on the inside of the police cruiser.
