Country Financial celebrates ribbon cutting ceremony

Community members and local business representatives gathered April 23 to welcome the new Country Financial office at 219 Sibley Street during a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted at 3:30 p.m. in downtown Hastings.
Guests arrived before and after the formal ribbon cutting, visiting the office for over roughly an hour as they toured the newly prepared space, spoke with staff, and enjoyed a selection of treats and beverages. The event marked the official opening of the agency’s new Hastings location under owner Mandy Bremer, who recently relocated the business from Cannon Falls.
Bremer operates the office alongside her sister, Sarah, continuing a second-generation family insurance and financial services business that began with their father’s 45-year career in the industry. The move to Hastings reflects Bremer’s long-term goal of establishing the agency in the community where she has lived since 2003.
Addressing attendees during the event, Bremer emphasized both the family nature of the business and her appreciation for community support.
“I’m Mandy Bremer, the brains behind this operation, that is my sister, Sarah, she is the good looks. We balance each other out well, but we’re super excited to be here and be a part of the community and be colleagues with all of you all. It’s wonderful. And thank you, Barb, for the space and the opportunity, and we’re just super thankful. Welcome.”
The office offers a range of services including home, auto, life, and business insurance, along with retirement planning and other financial services. Bremer is licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, and Arizona, allowing her to assist clients with primary residences, cabins, and seasonal homes across multiple states.
The Sibley Street location places the agency in the heart of downtown Hastings, where Bremer said she looks forward to continuing her involvement with local organizations, events, and youth activities while serving area residents and businesses.
